Can anyone tell me how I can fix very dry lips, I have tried every lip balm and product possible and no matter what, my lips are still dry and cracked, any suggestions?

I use paw paw ointment – it works great! I also find Lanolin from Woolworths a fantastic products. I use it on my lips, cuticles and dry elbows and feet. It`s about $3.00-$4.00.

nyal`s cold sore cream is fab!! even if you don`t have cold sores!! it has menthol in it which really goes deep into your lips (you can feel it!) and it smoothes them and makes them AMAZING!! you have to try it!!!! so many of my friends use it and they don`t have cold sores.

aha the edible lip balm by moogoo is awesome! sadly my sister still can`t find her other one to give me =(

Been using Nivea strawberry lately, but alternate with chap stick naturals and carmex and lucas paw paw and banana boat spf 30+ and palmers cocoa lip butter and…yea I`m an addict aha

But they are all very good and each has a different purpose. For ultra dry lips I recommend Carmex as it`s quite thick and your lips are protected and nourished for a longer periods of time, so you also don`t need to reapply as often.

I usaually have really dry flakey lips- I have been using moogoo tingling honey lip balm for about a week and so far my lips are nice and soft and smooth- I would recommend that anyone with dry lips gives it a go.

The lip scrub does work sonya, but I prefer to use castor sugar, it seems to be a little bit more gentle, and easy to manage. But if your lips are cracked, don`t scrub them, they need to heal first! 🙂

Recently, I got a Bloom lip balm pot thing. It`s really hard, but if you kind of use the pad of your finger to “”dig”” some out and apply it to your lips, it lasts for a long time – it`s very moisturising. The bad thing about the Bloom lip balm pot range is the range of flavours that it offers. Out of all the ones, I only like the smell of the strawberry one and the peach one.
