In my experience, heated eyelash curlers are hopeless.. I have difficult to curl lashes but i use standard metal curlers and either blast them under the hairdryer or keep them in my pocket for a while so they are warm.. Also, for your first coat of mascara, use an old and/dry one to set the curl..

try a couple of tricks with ur mascara and see if it works:

firstly load lots of mascara to the top eyelashes` top
then on the top eyelashes` bottom (if tht makes any sense!) start putting mascara like normaly and towards the end hold it a bit angled pointing it outwards.

also for the bottom set of eyelashes dont put mascara on lashes closer to ur nose and make the mascara heavier going outwards.
    hope it helps a bit

Some of us just have straight lashes! Mine are too – so is my hair and that won`t curl either! I know how you feel!

Pretty much..you can warm up the rubber part (does it have rubber?)
under some warm water and then put your lashes in and squeeze or a few seconds.
(a bit like hot rollers, but dont use hot water, as you could scold ur eyes..ouch..

i got an elf mechanical eyelash curler for part of my turquoise gift and i know this probably sounds silly but how exactly do you use it? Do you just put it on your lashes and squeeze and for how long etc?

    Perming eyelashes is the best

If I have a special event on and I want all-day curled eyelashes, I will give my eyelash curler a blast with my hair dryer, just be aware, you only want the curling rubber to heat up, not any of the metal parts that will touch your eyelid, because that can hurt! I always curl my eyelashes after applying mascara, although you probably shouln`t do that, but the curl holds better. Word of caution though, be careful of your eyelash curler getting clogged up with mascara, one time I was walking around curling my eyelashes and stumbled, and because my eyelashes were stuck in the curler I ripped about 2mm out! Ouch!

    hope that helps
