Could I have some feedback please?
Hi Beauties,
Just wondering if any of you have bought stuff from mirenesse and if it really lives up to its claims. I have bought some of their products but not the higher end stuff and it would be good to know if it is worth it.
Thanks in advance for any help.

I’m still undecided between the original and the sexy secret weapon. And itching to buy some make up today! Haha so much for my spending ban.
Don’t bother with the Sexy Secret – the Original is much better. Do a search on Mirenesse – there are LOADS of threads already on this brand!

I do really like the superstar eye serum, seems to soak in really well.
Their bead cleanser (not the powder one) honestly the best scrub i have used – the particles are just perfect, its in a gel rather than a cream – just love it
powder cleanser – cant remember what it is called either – not bad, kind of cool concept, but it did feel a bit like i was using washing powder to cleanse plus it left my skin very smooth but squeaky clean and a bit tight, so not a huge fan.
there is a peel or an acid or some product like that, I found that it really hurt my skin. i dont have sensitive skin at all and it left my nose really red and then a couple days later it peeled.Sorry I am being a bit lazy and not looking up product names – if you cant work out what i am talking about i’;; go back and look it up!
I have actually tried stacks of their products – let me know if there is anything in particular you want info on.

Hi Mauvey, I’ve tried both and to be honest I would recommend the original formula. Although I like the plastic head of the sexy secret mascara, the formula seems to be different; rather than tubes sliding off your lashes in warm water, it kind of flakes off.
My understanding with the original is that you can get normal, curling, or extra long. I’ve tried extra long but didn’t like it, with all the extra fibres in it it was just really clumpy and difficult to use.
So I like the original and I like the curling one, they both create the tube effect which doesn’t smudge at all.In saynig that, I’ve been using these mascaras for about 2 years now and the quality seems to deteriorate quickly.
I’m thinking about trying loreal’s double extend beauty tubes again, this has the same tubing effect with an optional primer.I think it’s one of those things you have to try for yourself to see!

Hi! I love some Mirenesse products (I haven’t tried them all!) e.g. the foundations (their colours are OMG! fantastic!). I’ve tried several and I do love them! I love the coloured little gel pots – I have four different colours and their staying power is really excellent. I love the way their ingredients are top-of-the-line and I love that their mascaras is ‘panda-eye-proof’. I do find it comes off in warm water – sometimes a warmer day at the beach, when the water is warm it has come off too. Still, no panda eyes either which is good!
@ Mauvey – I haven’t tried the Sexy Secret Mascara yet. I have only ever used the original one too. I tend to use my Mirenesse Mascara when I want to have an easy clean-up at the end of the day (as in no need to use a eye makeup remover – water just takes it off without any smudge). I wouldn’t use my Mirenesse Mascara for the beach anymore either as I do find the warmish summer beach water tends to remove it (but still no panda eyes – it just kind of rolls off and away). : )
I’ve introduced my sister and my mum to the brand and my sister has requested on consecutive birthdays that all she wants is more of ‘THAT’ mascara (meaning the Mirenesse one!). My Mum has also repeatedly then bought the Velvet foundation – she says it’s the best she’s ever used (and she’s got a few years behind her!! 67 actually!). I also love that foundation – hence my introducing her to it. It tends to stay on super well and has SPF25 I think which is always better than not. The Velvet foundation is really a beautiful one.
Just a couple of things I personally have found dissapointing though is that not all the gel face/eye colour pots come with that superb little brush – just the black one does. Another little problem is that the packaging sometimes breaks up a bit on me on a couple of products after a while like with the older version of their eyeliner and the lid on one of my brow products (but that’s probably just me because I use the product a lot!). Anyhow we live on earth and pretty much nothing is perfect down here (except maybe my pet bun!)
All in all Mirenesse keeps me coming back for more and I love that they are on the cutting edge of new ingredients.
