Centre Parts In?

So I’m not the greatest trend follower, but I’ve been cruising round the beauty sites today, and I’ve noticed that the centre part, sans fringe appears to be the ‘in thing’ (excuse daggy phrase). I’m getting my hair cut on Saturday (last one before the wedding most likely), so I’m wanting to stay on the conservative side of cutting (for now!), I’m considering going the centre fringe with my layers and not getting my fringe cut back in (my wedding hairstyle is below), I’m thinking that the centre part cut might be the way to go. Thoughts? (also thoughts on the style, my veil will be going at the back of the crown high up part) It’s a bit of a dodgy pic, it’s Dianna Agron, but i took it from a magazine with my mobile phone camera

heheheh snap beautystar! i chopped all my hair off too, it’s roughly your length, longest layer is just skimming my collarbone. I didn’t buy into the “you have to grow your hair for your wedding” crap, long hair drove me insane! even G who insisted he liked long hair better likes this length on me (or he does a good job of hiding it hehe)…. i think i will ask them to straighten then curl because i have naturally wavy hair and want the curls to be defined not messy…. you looked absolutely stunning on your wedding day BS! love your dress too 🙂

That is a beautiful Wedding photo beautystar, you look gorgeous, whoever did your hair and makeup did a good job 🙂 BG, this sort of style is definitely pretty and very suited for a wedding.

ok…i have lifted a photo off facebook! I’ll have to go down to the garage to get the dvd of professional photos (I had them on my old computer so put the backup dvd down in the garage and havent got around to putting them on this computer)

this pic shows the hairstyle but you cant see the veil or tiara. its also towards the end of the night so the curls have dropped out a bit but it gives you a bit of an idea

Gorgeous darl, that is what I mean about dressing it up some more, the curls really take this from a casual look that I wear around daily to something special that takes it to a more formal level 🙂

actually that is almost exactly what i wore for my wedding!! I wanted my hair a bit more casual. I did have a veil and tiara plus it was curly…my hair is naturally curly but they had to straighten it and recurl it with the ghd to get neat curls. I can see if i can find a pic if you like. I also didnt have this length. I was growing my hair all year then in Nov (wedding was in jan) I snapped and cut it all off! Oh well, short hair suits me best.

I love that photo Beautygeek! That’s a beautiful hairstyle for a wedding.
As for parts, I’ve haven’t worn a centre part for so long! I think I suit side parts, but it really depends on the person and what they feel comfortable in.
    🙂

Love that hairstyle and wear it all the time. I am not sure about for a wedding though??? I guess you could dress it up a fair bit and make it more formal looking, maybe curl the lengths so its more defined???
Good to hear that centre parts are in, I have always had one 😉
