Shame I don’t have an extra $80,000 lying around to buy my dream collectors item!

Ooh! Very nice! Our family is very car orientated, my sister drives a 1985 Jag, my uncle drives a 1972 Mustang and my grandad has a 1966 mustang.

The piccie is me and the Jag, it is technically my dad’s car, buuuut my sister is buying it off him. It is all original inside and out. If you can see it, there is actually a little ribbon around the leaper’s neck to match my dress.

hey everyone, I’m almost on my P plates and parents have decided to be ultra generous and gift me a first car 😀 I’m looking for something small, preferably a yaris or swift. what do you girls recommend for a first car?

I have a little 2011 Kia Rio (Sports Special edition cos I’m swish) and it is a perfect first car, they aren’t as easy to get now that the new body is out (I cannot stand the new body). They have literally jammed everything you get in more expensive cars into the rio, I have bluetooth connectivity, USB and the most amazing stock standard stereo system. But you’d really have to look at your price range. I’m lucky enough my dad salary sacrifices it for me and I pay him fortnightly for it.

My friend recently got her first car – a black suzuki swift, she calls it her bat mobile lol. It’s a really nice car, I’m not usually a fan of hatchbacks but this one was really fun to drive and actually quite roomy. Plus it’s so easy to park!

Well, it’s no Silvia but here is my first new car! Or it will be in 7 to 10 days! It’s a pretty nice feeling, handshaking on the deal 🙂 🙂 🙂

Well done Shelley! Love the winged headlights and adore the colour – so appropriate for a bh member, lol… Have had several Toyotas in my life, and many years of safe and trouble-free motoring. Bet the next week will draaaaaaaaaaaaag till you get it ♥

Cat Lover I love the older Ford like the GT’s. I would get the silver with the orange strips and the big ass bonnet scoup lol.

MACjunkie It really depends which one you prefer. The Toyota Corolla was the best selling car world wide for a number of years, I think the Mazda was the best selling car in Australia last year. I personally like the look of the swift sport. I would suggest test driving them.
I think the Ford also have the Fiesta which looks good too, but really depends what you like.

I’m just looking around for my first car and am so excited!! I go off-roading a lot and would love a 4WD – a Jeep wrangler or Range rover freelander would be my dream cars right now haha.

I agree I was surprised.
I love my car and most dinner conversations with friends are about cars as most of the males in my life are obsessed. We co-own a tyre shop so if it is not about cars it’s about tyres and rims.
