Bumpy underarms

I wax my underarms and i get bumps on my underarms. Using an exfoliating glove normally gets rid of most of the bumps, but they still feel rough. If there a way to make them smooth?

Black magic – which way do you shave??? I found shaving downwards is better, no more bumps for me…..

I get the bumps just from shaving :/ I think my skin doesn’t like it so I try not to shave too often.

Before shaving my underarms, I always make sure to exfoliate that area real well (whilst I’m in the shower). After that, use a shaving cream or any moisture to apply on that area and then shave. After the shower, I obviously apply body lotion, also to my underarm area. I don’t know if the helps, but I make sure to exfoliate real so that this doesn’t happen. Hope I healped! 🙂

What actually causes this. Is it a reaction to the waxing??

Perhaps try a really good moisturising oil. I find rosehip oil is very gentle to the skin as I use it underneath my eyes and there is no irritation. It’s great for regenerating skin cells which I’m sure would help for the problem you have. It may help soften out those bumps and renew the surface area. It’s easily absorbed and non greasy. You can try Kosmea, Akin or Trilogy as they are all great brands. I think it’s quite expensive for a small bottle but a little goes a long way and it lasts for ages. I use Akin. I use a rosehip oil hand lotion at night, I sometimes also put it on my feet to soften them up. I use it for scratches and bites or anything itchy. Plus under my eyes where the skin is quite dark and also on scars over my face. Seriously it’s great stuff because it’s so gentle, is really hydrating, softens and smooths skin and helps scars a little. I hope this helps 🙂
