Bumpy Skin

So I can’t complain as I know some have bad acne and my skin is generally quite good. I do get the occasional pimple which I know you cannot control but I get bumpy skin so just little lumps and bumps. I recently started cleansing, toning and moisterising which I am now in love with but just wondering if anyone has the same issue and what to do for it? I have thought about getting the sample pack of pro-active and just using it once a day or a few times a week because I obviously don’t need to use full time.

What is everyone’s thoughts?

You can get Murad’s range at Myer, though not all stores stock them. They are part of the Mecca Cosmetica line

I agree, Trilogy Rosehip Oil does wonders!

Awesome, I’ll have to get my hands on a clarifying mask!

Where abouts can I find the Skinceuticals or Murad’s masks?

The Facial Company sells the Skinceuticals one that is where I got mine from recently after they so kindly tempted me with a sample from a previous order, haha, if you are ordering anything with them you can request a sample of it with your order if you want to try before you buy 🙂 I noticed they sell Murad as well but not sure if they sell that mask or not personally 🙂

I had a friend who used ProActive. She’s off it now though. She found that it’s really good when your using it, but once she tried to stop her skin went really dry. Her skin was practically dependent on ProActive otherwise it went all dry and little bits peeling off.

I agree with everyone else 🙂

But I like the a’kin mud mask 🙂

Prissy & Boosh – you’re not using Clinique, by any chance are you? If you are, I would recommend a change as this brand is renowned for causing those types of bumps. If not, just ignore this post!

Agree with Melmeko. Clarifying masks are wonderful for bumpy skin. I currently use Murad’s mask but there are others to try. Just check out whether the mask is the right one for your skin type.

I agree it is congestion, get yourself a good clarifying mask, I like the clay ones because they draw all the gunk out so well, beware many can be rather drying. I like the Skinceuticals one because it doesn’t dry my skin out at all like many others I have tried 🙂

I use to have these bumps and the lady from my dermalogica face mapping session told me it was congestion. After using Trilogy Rosehip oil every night though my oily skin has become less oily, therefore the bumps on my forehead are severely reduced. They’re not all gone, but my forehead has been the smoothest it’s been since they started appearing
