Brittle Fingernails

I started taking Blackmores Refinish several months ago to try to improve my skin. As a side effect, my nails have improved beyond my wildest dreams. They`ve stopped splitting and delaminating and are the longest they`ve been in at least 15 years.

Also, I find that a Manicare Nail Stone is great for shaping nails and removing snags. After trying mine, a couple of friends bought them. Other people saw theirs and bought them too.

I`m not a big fan of the manicare nail hardeners. I think, well from what i`ve heard, i`d go all out and try the Revitanail. Haven`t heard a failed attempt yet.

manicare has a great range of products. there is usually a chart which shows which onw does what. I use them after i have acrylics to get my nails back in shape. I think also that jessica brand has a few, and also try sally hansen, i know that has a diamond strength polish

Brush on Fibreglass – Network nail strenghthening system, you can buy from the chemist, not too expensive, just like nailpolish. Dr Lewins like a lot of nail polishes contain Formeldahyde I think its called which is a pretty nasty chemical, so I try and stay clear of it if possible, however a lot of nail polishes do contain the chemical. But this product is rather promising and is not harmful, and well we all know how hard fibreglass is, so its just to assist your natural nail to grow giving it a bit of support. Good Luck.
