Books you read as a kid =)

Hey everyone, I was reading through the fave authors thread and it started bringing back memories of books I read as a kid and thought it might be fun for everyone to share.
‘When I was little I loved all of Shirley Barber’s fairy books and these books called Find Frankie which were like Where’s Wally but he was a little Frankenstein monster lol. Enid Blyton books were great, Magic Faraway Tree, The Banana Thief, Wishing Chair etc and Roald Dahl =) I loved Nancy Drew too haha
I also loved all of Margaret Clark’s books, especially the Chickabees which was about these 5 girls in a band, like the Spice Girls – one was sporty, one posh etc
I went through a bit of a magic/witchy faze with Sabrina the Teenage Witch, the Circle of Three Series, T*Witches, Replica series.
Ok so I was a huge book nerd as a kid, I could go on but I won’t lol! What books did you girls read?

    I agree.

Enid Blyton was my bestest! I also read all the Judy Blume.

Did anyone read the Sweet Valley High series? Also the Sweet Dreams Series? I remember the teenage love stories.

I love Roald Dahl, I had forgotten about him! How is that possible? Eskimo Bec, my mum does many different things working for Margaret. Her job is never dull. She is a great writer, her books are hilarious. 🙂

Oh damn GB, guess we have a little bit longer to wait then! Roald Dahl`s book Fantastic Mr Fox is/has also been made into a movie so hopefully that still comes out in December of this year as planned. I loved the movie versions of Matilda and James and the Giant Peach =) FMF has George Clooney, Bill Murray and Clate Blanchett in it so should be good
That would be a great job Hooha =) I loved all of Margaret Clark`s books when I was younger, especially those ones that were kind of a crossover series with Living With Leanne & Fat Chance.
