Body brushing vs tan

Hey ladies 🙂
I was wondering if any of you out there dry brush your skin? I am going to start as I have heard its great but as I am fair, I fake tan a lot and am wondering if it will just rub off straight away? Does anyone know if this will happen and a solution for it if it does?

I use palmer’s gradual tanner and I find it doesn’t come off tooooo much after dry brushing… however I do reapply it every day. I think keeping your skin well moisturised would probably help the tan adhere to your skin and not flake off as much as well, but as Elmo says, dry brushing means exfoliation, and exfoliation = fake tan’s enemy!

And idea might be to just dry brush before a shower once or twice a week and make after that shower the time when you apply your fake tan.

You’re esssentially exfoliating your skin with the body brushing – so I don’t know how you’ll avoid it unfortunately! 🙂 I always use gradual tanner to extend my tan though, so it might help a little?

Ohhhh haha dammit! I thought there might be a tricky way out of it

If I use the Dove moisturiser with the hint of tan it mght extend it a little longer I guess

Yep it’s going to brush off your tan – so you’ll need to reapply! I would just stick to doing it the same time you exfoliate all your tan off and start again!
