Bobbi Brown Shimmer Brick Alert

Wow what a bargain! Thanks for posting MsCosmetics. These shimmer bricks look really shimmery in photos etc, can anyone please let me know what the shimmer level is like for the rose and nectar shimmer bricks? TIA!

I bought the nectar one and haven’t received it yet, but I did go to Bobbi Brown and had a MUA try it on me first before I bought it. It’s not hugely pigmented, but she dusted it fairly lightly on me and was able to build up a lovely corally glow. I think it would be best on someone who likes shimmery cheeks and has a lighter skintone 🙂 Hope this helps!

Ooops nevermind I looked up the swatches and this looks so pigmented compared to my boring pink one, couldn’t help myself, it was still the same price, yay, hopefully this one will change my opinion of them once and for all 🙂

As some of you may know, I am one of the few people who is not at all fussed with my pink shimmer brick, it is sooo slack for the price (my opinion only, I think that while BB products are obviously quality, the majority of the time the price is just ridiculous for what the product is, especially when there are other brands around for half the price or less that are equally as good, or kind of close, lol) But DG was good enough to swatch her different shimmer bricks for me and I got the chance to see that there are a few that have more than the subtle sheer hint of colour, that I can barely notice with my pink shimmer brick. Now I can’t for the life of me remember if the nectar was one of the more pigmented ones or not??? Anyone have it what are your thoughts?? Now $18 is definitely a price I would be willing to pay and it is more suited to my budget, but would not bother if it were just shimmery like the pink one I already have.

I finally gave in and got the nectar shimmer brick, it was still for sale when I got paid today and couldn’t resist 🙂 I may have bought MAC Well Dressed as well… Waaay cheaper on SN than it is at MAC here! Am now on a blush spending ban, hehe.

Absolutely adore my shimmer brick 🙂
I got my for $21 on SN such a great deal and now it’s even cheaper!!
I use the colours all together with a large brish for blush.
I also have a few mac foundation brushes so I use one just to get the pale shimmer white/cream colour and use that to highlight brow bones, and the ‘C’ around the eye area. LOVE IT
Highly recommend it!
