Bobbi Brown gel eyeliner

I’ve just popped on to have a peek around BH before going to bed, and saw this thread. I wore Bobbi Brown gel liner (black) to work yesterday, and ended up doing a double shift. So, I applied my makeup at 11.30am yesterday…it’s now 7.30am the following day, and I swear it Has Not Budged. No flaking, smearing, fading, creasing – nothing. It looks just like it did when I applied it, on my upper lash line and tightline.

It’s worth every penny in my opinion, and if you buy through the Estee Lauder staff shops, you’ll get it heavily discounted. (Only if you have a pass, obviously.) I’ll happily repurchase this at full price when it eventually runs out or dries up. It’s just perfect for what’s designed to do.

Actually my sister has the Maybelline one and it’s pretty good! I found the Bobbi Brown one for a better price online though and figured it might be better quality so thought I’d give it a go:)

I honestly think the maybelline Gel liner is just as good as the Bobbi brown long lasting gel liner and the MAC fluid track! I have extremely watery eyes and it helps make my lining stay on for quite some time!

I’ve been thinking about getting that, actually, but it bugs me that there is no sample that I can try before I get it… 🙁

I haven’t actually bought the modelco gel eyeliner, but I tried some on the back of my hand @ DJs today, and it was amazing! Heaps smooth and pigmented, and even came with a brush, which tbh, was actually ok quality. And I think it was only around $35.

So I’m considering jumping on board the gel eyeliner bandwagon because I’ve heard it’s the best thing to use on your waterline.

Has anyone tried the BB one? Is it longlasting and good a good black colour to it? I have pretty watery eyes so I’m looking for something good to use on my waterline.

At the moment I’m using the Bourjois Kohl and Contour Pencil and I love the colour but it doesn’t last quite as long as I’d like and it can bit a bit irritating when I wear contacts.

I have the black bb gel liner, and it is amazing!! I have really oily eyelid, and it doesnt crease as much as other eyeliner always do on my eyelide. It has great staying power, the whole day, sometimes it kinda runs abit(really really light and faint) just under the corner of the eye, but other than that. waterproof great on rainy days but also easy to remove when u want to… It is pretty ex abt $45 sold in myer i think, but honestly, it goes a long way, and a pot has lasted me for almost a year now and i still have heaps of it still!
