Blackhead Minefield

I would love to hear how everyone treats blackheads, particularly on the nose. I cleanse, scrub, treat & everything else i can think of religiously but never seem to be able to get rid of blackheads. They improve sometimes but are still there. I don’t know what else to try.

Manicare sells a blackhead remover $5, its a little needle to scrap out blackheads (its not as painful as it sounds), it has a loop on the other side for popping pimples (so the gunk just pops right out.

    That sounds kinda scary!
I may have to try it though, I have had this one horrible blackhead on my nose for months now. I`ve tried steam facials, scrubs and pore strips to get rid of it and nothing has worked so far.

Princess, I find a twice weekly clay mask, and exfoliating three times a week with a glycolic based scrub keeps them to a minimum. Alpha-H Balancing and Pore Refining Mask, and Alpha-H Micro Cleanse are two effective products that I use on a regular basis. Salicylic acid is also great for removing oil and unplugging pores.

    I use Neutragena blackhead scrub.
Used to have a lot of them on my nose and after Neutragena I see a clear reduction in how many and how often I get blackheads.

Its high maintanence to keeps those little pores clean and free of debris.
Once their stretched their strectched, they have never really shrunk for me much.
And I do the masks and the biore pore strips too.
(I wish I had “”normal”” skin that you dont really have to do much with)

thanks guys. i asked my beauty therapist what i can do about the whole nose not looking any different once they pore is unclogged. She advised me that it is a slow process but keeping the pores really clean and unclogged will eventually let them kind of shrink back to normal size.
So now i have an arsenal big enough to fill a Louis Vuitton travel trunk. Included in this arsenal is Ella Bache`s Yeast Cream. sounds pretty gross, but it claims to dissolve & purge the gunk, it seems to have made the final bit of difference. so now i go through my usual daily skin routine with this cream at night, biore pore strips once a week, as well as my usual masks, scrubs etc etc etc.

I have terrible blackheads on my nose and am looking for the perfect product, but I`ve found using Clean & Clear blackhead cleanser in the shower at the end, using a decent amount just on the nose and being a bit rough scrubbing it in works pretty well. Combine it with the C & C blackhead toner and see how you go.
The pore strips will only pinch for a second at most but im the same as Curly locks, you can see the blackheads on it but your nose doesnt look any different. There is a pore unclogging lotion to use with the strips too so im gonna give that a go.
Only other tip is to steam your face and squeeze them out, but be VERY VERY careful not to go too hard and pop a vessel in your nose…looks freaky lol

I myself have the same problem. I have tried the biore nose strips. Once you remove the strip you can see the blackheads on it though my nose didn`t look any different.

I have always used these innovative strips, and they help alot.
Wished they were around when I was a teenager.
