Big Bright Eyes

I just got the Eye of Horus Teal eye liner. Works on the inside rim too. Wore it on my upper lashline and the lower inner rim with a little on the outside third. Their mascara is my current fave. I wore it to Christmas lunch today and it really made my green eyes pop. Even my too cool tween nieces noticed and liked the way it looked. It wore well and didn`t smudge through the day.
I recommend it highly.

I wish their mascara worked for me 🙁 it gave me no length and dried out really quickly so I went back to Ere Perez

But I`ve wanted bigger lashes recently so I bought Lancome Doll eyes which I`ve used before and really liked.

As for eyeliner I love Illamasqua at the moment as it`s really creamy and very dark, very minimal smudging too. I also use a coloured Bourjois one but I don`t know how easy it will be to sharpen as it`s plastic.

I prefer to stick to natural products but makeup is not an area that I`ve had much success with unless I want neutral colours and barely there makeup.

Just reading through these as I was looking for some tips to make my own eyes look bigger. Thanks everyone!!

Yeah, I`ve tried the white eyeline and often put white shimmer at the inner corners of my eyes. Looks nice but after something different- I like the idea of green shimmer, I never thought of that so I`ll give it a go!I always wear heaps of mascara!
Hehe yeah its nice having green eyes but nothing to be envious of if I can`t play them up and make them look any good! hehe

put shimmery green eye shadow similar to your eye colour or the shimmery white transluscent powder on the insides of your eyes work really good. i`m so envoius, i`ve got brown eyes! heaps of mascara is always good.

I read somewhere that if you put some transluscent silvery/white eyeshadow rite in at the edges of your eyes, it tends to open up your eyes. Not sure if that helps – but I do it all the time and the great thing about it is that it goes with any outfit!

Thanks girls. I cant master the art of fake eyelashes no matter what I do!! I haven`t tried the single lashes though so maybe that is a good idea..I just bought that tweezerman – lash man, which was a bit of a let down – doesn`t work as well as I hoped but will give it another go!
I sometimes line my eyes with blue liner and then put a pinky eyeshadow over the top which makes them a purpley/lilac colour and gold shimmer below the brow bone – looks nice but I`m after something different – I get bored easy 😛

yeah i hear you. i like the bronze, browns, golds for every day. it`s easy and looks good. i think full on purples can be a bit much, they suit a certain look but it can look a bit harsh i think.

When I was dark haired they suited much better – I`ve tried plums and lilacs gone down in shades on the eye crease – but it just does`nt seem to work for me – makes me look kinda – bruised, or look worse for wear, especially if I have`nt had enough sleep.

oh and gem, i think if you got into a bit of biff you`d definately come out on top. hahahaha, no black eyes for you lol:)
