BEWARE!!! Becca Cosmetics Fake/Spam Emails

Hi BHers,

I just thought I’d let you all know that someone has been sending fake emails, stating there from Becca Cosmetics. They state their email as info@beccacosmetics.com
I’ve received 2 spam emails from them, the first one telling me that my computer had sent a virus to their website and corrupted their site and it was URGENT that I click on the following link to fix the problem. Of course I didn’t do this. Instead I forwarded the email to the proper Becca Cosmetics email address letting them know. They emailed me back saying they knew nothing about it and to delete it immediately. They said they would pass it on to the US office. Then a few days after that, I received another email from the fakers, this time telling me that Becca had been hacked into and my account had been compromised with large orders being purchased on my behalf. Again they provided a link to click on which was to supposedly “secure” my account. I also forwarded this to the proper company website.
I received an email reply from the US branch, apologising, they said that their server had been compromised but assured me that all account info and credit card details were not kept on this server. I hope for their sake that’s true.
I just wanted the girls on BH to know as I’d hate anyone to take the email for its word and follow the instructions.
