best sort sunscreen
hi there
I love going to the beach and i’ve used many sunscreens in the past but can’t find the perfect sunscreen that is protective and actually is four hours water resistant. can any of you suggest a sunscreen that actually does work?

I get horribly burnt even thinking about the sun so I always go out prepared. Avon used to have a fabulous sunscreen just for hands – unfortunately they discontinued it.
I tend to have a number (of different brands) around the house and in my bag and find them all to be good. I would list Avon and Invisible Zinc as my faves simply because they are non-greasy and stay on the longest -

I use the Nivea spf 30+ daily face veil and the nivea body one too and I find they both work a treat, nice and light too. But as melmeko says, the trick really is to reapply them soooo frequently… I`m a bit of a nut about it when I go to the beach, but it means I just tan a little bit and don`t burn! Particularly remember to reapply when you get out of the water… I don`t think ANY of them are truly water resistant.

Have you tried this one:
It`s 4 hour water resistent thanks to the great zinc formula! Heaps of us love the tinted daywear from this brand so I`m sure this would be great too!
