I’m a lip gloss addict and I was wondering if you guys could give me some suggestions on what to buy next. Basically, whats your gloss?

I just love Rimmel “”Sweet Jelly”” lip glosses they give a sheer look and they last – I cant get enough of it and it comes in various shades aswell. Its not sticky like some lip glosses are

Flutter, there was an old post similar to this one 🙂 It`s good to see you back again.

I don`t find the juicy tubes to be sticky, but then I don`t mind sticky glosses, so I probably don`t notice. Have you tried any of Clinique`s Superbalm glosses? Oh, and if you have access to it, Kit cosmetics make a really nice Lip Sheen, which is moisturising and shiny. It comes in a pink and a clear version, and it smells like peppermint, it`s lovely.

I am loving XL plumping gloss by maybeline. I bought it the other day and it works really well. Plumps( i love the tingly feeling) and has a great shine. When put over a shade of lipstick my lips look so big! but natural not ott.

the best lipgloss i have EVER used is ELES Liptox.
it is a lip plumper, smoother and gloss. it doesn`t sting like most plumpers, it glides on and shimmers thanks to the diamond dust, it lasts longer than most glosses, smells lovely, smooths the lips over time and isn`t gluggy or sticky.
this gloss is THE BEST! love it.
    .
second to this is the Estee Lauder glosses.

    Dear chocalatelyg…….,
at the end of the day there is no right or wrong lip gloss. It`s what you like or love. For myself I love the adverts in magazines themselves on products. I love to know about my lip glosses and lip products. It first started out to help me through my treatment to becoming now a passion and love for me. I would and still do look at the products in the magazines then on the internet or if you prefer the stores. But before you go into the stores if your an lip gloss addict write down the ones you really like then buy a couple or a few and when they are getting close to running out the fun is to go to the next part of your list or a different list with the latest products since then. Because if you go into a store and all they have is lipgloss after lipgloss lined up you don`t know where to start and can become overwhelming but if you have that list and the image in your head or cut out of the magazine you can spot them and buy them if you wish and just knowing about products for me even when I can`t obviously afford them all is a love for me and maybe you already do this I don`t know. Also by writing down what you plan on buying you know in your mind what its going to cost and not get a shock at the checkout when you overindulge. Sometimes too the dearest ones doesn`t mean are always going to be the best ones too you can get some good lip glosses at reasonable prices.
Also if your a lip gloss addict have you delved into the world of serums, exfoliators and scrubs for the lips now thats a gorgeous world too hon. Getting giddy again ladies.
What brands interest you hon the dearer spectrum like Dior or Chanel or is it Max factor or Cover girl. What are your loves?
Is it just me or is this an old post?
    Love Flutter.

    Dear glossqueen,
I had the juicy tubes from Lancome on my list for a shopping trip that I went on the same time last year which I am saving for now hopefully soon and anyhoo saved for it as a luxury buy and on it was the juicy tubes even cut out the picture so I wouldn`t forget and so I could see it when I stumbled on it and the Lancome lady says to me when I enquire about it `oh, then, you wouldn`t like these as they are very thick and pastey in texture`. So that popped my little fantasy splurge bubble and yet a few members like yourself mention lancome Juicy Tubes. Interesting…..

    Dear melmeko,
thanks for the heads up hon on the superstay lip gloss as I had it on my list for possible maybe`s to replace the ones I am using and have now crossed it off now that you have tried it as I am with you there all the way hate the pastey ones the worst one for me and charging 25dollars to only ever wear it 3 times as I hate wasting especially on a budget is the loreal 6 hour glam shine for me. Terrible! It shocked me too with the loreal one was not expecting that and the glugginess would get in your teeth, not the colour but the glue. Yuck!

I also have a Lancome Juicy Tubes lipgloss and also one from Clarins. both look and taste great, but I find they are quite sticky and come off quite easily. I also have a Revlon Super Lustrous Lipgloss whcih I got as a bonus when I bought some Revlon lipsticks. It looks really good, and doesn`t come off easily, but doesn`t have fruity smell.
