Best face wipes?

Hey guys, just wondering if anyone can recommend face wipes? These are not a product I’ve ever used but I’m going camping for a week and thought they may be a good investment for that.

I have done some searching through the posts and like the look of WotNot (although don’t know where I can get them from?) and the Yes To Cucumbers wipes.

I have looked at face wipes in priceline etc before and the ingredients always look really scary and full of chemicals! I’m meaning brands like swisspers and simple, australis etc

I recently bought 80 pack of swisspers wipes but I think they’re for babies. So does baby wipes remove make up as well as face wipes and are they safe for the facial skin?

I found some Yes To Cucumber Natural Glow Facial Towelettes(with organic cucumber, aloe vera & Dead Sea minerals) online at Ozsale a few months ago and have found them to be quite good, they don’t have Propylene Glycol and the wipes are biodegradable.
I tend to use when I haven’t worn makeup or I’m sick or I’m too tired to thoroughly clean.
My only problem is my partner doesn’t like the smell(I think they’re fine..it’s quite a subtle cucumber scent)..so I rinse with cold water after using them!

I found these at Coles too recently. Made my night as I couldn’t find them anywhere else. I love the smell. I want to use them straight away but I still have a pack of WotNots and Biore Green Tea ones left to use up.

Thought I’d already mentioned these but can’t see my post anywhere so…… Swisspers Green Tea wipes, they are soft, thick and soothing. They just feel so nice, I find some of the thinner wipes tend to scrape a little especially around the eyes but not these babies =D

Face wipes shouldn’t replace cleansing on a regular basis but they are good for times when you can’t wash your face or to take off your make up before you cleanse your skin. I have tried a lot and I love the Neutrogena cleansing wipes (in the blue packet) because they remove every trace of make-up, but if you’re going camping then that might not be something you need to worry about. The Yes To Carrots are good for cleansing but not good for make-up removal. If you’re not wearing make-up, the Yes To Carrots wipes would be the way to go, followed by a moisturiser.

i use face wipes every night before i cleanse properly. I usually use nivea or johnsons but since their so expensive ive recently started using these ones that are only $2 from coles called “derma” and they are just as good as the more expensive brands!! ….not like the other cheap brands where the wipes have hardly any moisture and feels like you may as well be wiping your face with a tissue =P

Thanks for your tip, I’ll check out Derma on my next trip to the supermarket.

I’ve bought nearly all the brands to compare, and find most of them very similar. For a first time purchase how about popping into Priceline (if you have one nearby) and buying their own brand facial wipes. One with Vitamin E ( Pink) or cucumber ( Green) very reasonably priced. If you want to be a bit more enviornmentally friendly you could make your own spritz with filtered or purified water (boil the jug) and add some esential oil. Happy camping.

I will certainly recommend a wipe made of rose water extracts. I must say that the fragrance is really refreshing and so is the effect on skin. I carry one when ever outside. Instead of using wipes I would also suggest using a round cotton ball dipped in rose water. You can carry this and simply use some drops on a cotton wool. It’s the perfect wipe and better than those in the boxes. You can be sure that the product is functioning..

One more thing that you can do is wipe your face with cucumber extract cubes. Simply get some extracts into a refrigerator and allow it to form cubes of ice. When you get back home from outside, get one out and roll all over the skin. I must tell you it’s the best refreshing wipe that you can ever get.
