Beauty Blender

Hi Beauties,
Who else here shares my love for Beauty Blenders?
I use these in my makeup kit and they provide my clients with fabulous coverage.
(If you have not heard of them you can use them to apply foundation, concealer, creme blush, etc).
Hands up if you love Beauty Blenders!

Not to revive a dead horse for no reason but I recently started using blenders (variations of Beauty Blender) so I feel I have something to contribute to this discussion now!

I can`t justify the price of a genuine Beauty Blender either when there are so many cheaper variations on the market. For a use and toss item, it`s not worth the price point.

One thing I want to share is that I use a hydrating mist before applying the blender, e.g. Jurlique Rosewater Balancing Mist. I do the same thing before applying a cushion to my face so I just carried over the habit. Alternatively, you could use a facial oil, e.g. argan oil. This is probably not an original tip but it`s made a difference to my application.

  • I can never justify a beauty blender, the cost is so expensive when there are so many great dupes (in my opinion anyway!) I have been using the Real Techniques one for ages, which I love.

I have also been using another brand called Mukier. They are a little different, but are great as well.

I have also picked up a cheap ebay knock off that is as good as the Beauty Blender, if I didn`t know any better I wouldn`t be able to tell the difference http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/2x-The-Original-BeautyBlender-Makeup-Applicator-Beauty-Blender-sponge-AU-STOCK-/301999501132?hash=item465092af4c:g:n2QAAOSwwo1Xc0VS

I definitely prefer beauty blenders over other dupes on the market. They feel different and the blending is superior in my opinion. I love them, the mini one too for under the eyes.
