Beauty Accident!

Hi my gorgeous BH’ers, so I thought I would start a thread about Beauty Accidents that work. For instance, as you you’re aware I did the Fraxel Dual Restore procedure about a month ago and had to follow the post-Fraxel instructions for about a week. One of the things the doctor gave me was a product called Bio Therapie (kinda looks like bio-oil) which I had to apply all over my face every couple of hours for the first week. Anyways, I never stopped using this and I’ve noticed that my eyelashes have grown a lot longer and thicker in 4 weeks! I didn’t intentionally set out to get longer thicker lashes but this was definitely a welcome accident.

Have you had a beauty accident where you’ve gotten great results? Please Share!

LOL, Rox…. Diamonds agghhhhhh I want to say yes but my husband would kill me hahhaha. He says I spend way too much money as it is and I’ve promised him I’d do better ; ) Maaaaybeeee next time we’re in LA then I can talk him to it!

V, what I’ve done is bought two pretty containers/jars that match the decor of my bathroom and poured the honey in one and pour the used coffee grinds in the other (make sure the coffee grinds are dry and not wet when putting it in the jar). This way I can have it sitting on the ledge of my bathtub to remind me I need to scrub -a-dub-dub.

I actually put the honey all over my body and then take the coffee grinds in my hands and scrub all over. The cellulite that I have behind my thighs are really really improving!!!!

Side note: Once you’ve made your coffee save those grinds and let it dry or if you’re like me and grind your coffee beans whatever grinds that overflow from the group handle use those.

Thanks Muraljewel, i will be trying out the honey and coffee scrub, i have tryed every scrub available to remove or slightly diminish my cellulite, as yet found nothing 🙁 but will be trying this one out tonight. cheers.

    Hi A,

just make sure you’re in your shower or a deep bathtub as this can be very messy. Apply to dry skin….get the honey on your body first then take scoops of coffee grinds and scrub, if you find its a bit too rough when scrubbing wet your hands not your body. When you’re all done just rinse everything off and you’ll be glowing. Do this 2 days every week and in no time at all you’ll see a huge difference in the way your cellulite looks.

and i assume apply honey only in the cellulite areas instead of all over body? cos i might have probably used the whole bottle of honey lol

    Muraljewel,

It is great to hear that your cellulite is not as noticeable (wish mine was!). I read some time ago that coffee does help so it seems you have stumbled on something great.

Isn’t your trip to LA coming up in April ? x

Rox you’re so amazing YUP leaving April 01! Can’t wait! By the way please let me know if you would like me to pick something up for you while I’m there! I know how expensive it is here.

You are a sweetheart for offering to get something for me but I will pass this time as you should enjoy yourself without worrying about me. Maybe next time? Have a wonderful time and let us know when you are back. If you are in the market for diamonds my dear friend is one of the most respected diamond merchants in the US and his business is in LA. He will look after you. Let me know if you want his contact details. xo

That’s an excellent idea mural, I will definately try that one next time. I love body scrubs and if I can make my own, that would save some money.
