Bad Breath
Many people worry about bad breath, either their own or someone else’s. The advertising media have made much of the social stigma arising from ‘offensive breath’ to their own advantage.
Bad breath or halitosis may indicate a dental problem, but this may not always be the case.

Mouth cleaners like listerine are not good unless they are alcohol free! Salt water gargles are probably very helpful and chewing parsley is very good.
Don`t neglect your tongue, I have a really bad gag reflex but carefully ensure to brush my tongue well especially in the mornings. If your tongue is coated in fur it may be a sign of an unwell liver, increase unprocessed foods such as fruit and veg and cut back on carbs, starchy foods, salts, sugars and other processed foods.
That video is so gross but thanks for sharing because I occassionaly cough a tonsil stone up usually first thing in the morning and I was so worried it was something worse, they smell so bad!

that`s very true John815
mouth cleansers such as Listerine do help but not significantly. Most of the time, it all comes down to the diet of a specific person. Vegetables and fruit such as strawberries help a lot not only with teeth staining but with bad breath too 🙂
xxExtreme dieting, use of tobacco products, soft drinks, coffee & alcohol like those things are responsible for the development of bad breath. But some people immediately turn to the treatments without thinking about the cause of the problem.

Has anyone heard of tonsil stones? They are really yuck things that can cause bad breath.
Your tonsils are filled with nooks and crannies where bacteria and other materials, including dead cells and mucous, can become trapped. When this occurs, the debris can become concentrated in white formations that occur in the pockets.I once coughed up a tiny one, nothing like the ones on this vid though… check it out if you want to know what they look like.
Thanks for this, I bet I have had that before. My Dr said I just have odd shaped tonsils because of having glandular fever when I was younger, and so I have nooks and crannies back there. I am often paranoid about it,, so I always brush, floss and use mouthwash.

bad breath can be caused due to diet, poor oral hygiene, or smoking & chewing tobacco-based products. Bad breath or a bad taste in your mouth may be warning signs of gum disease.

Try using mouth freshener or try eating more fruits and drinking juices rather than junk food and cold drinks.
