Baby shower for 2nd baby

I am 32 wks pregnant with my 2nd baby and my friends are encouraging me to have a baby shower as i didn’t have one with my first. I am having the same sex but am keeping this a secret! Does anyone have any advice on having a baby shower for subsequent pregnancies? I am looking for a nice way of saying that gifts of nappies, lotions, wipes etc would be appreciated!

    I know that it`s generally custom to have a baby shower for the first pregnancy. I have heard of women having baby showers for every pregnancy. Having a little celebration amongst friends and family. I guess most people you invite will assume that you have everything like cots, prams, blankets, etc so you`ll probably be more likely to receive clothing and other bits and pieces. You could say that you don`t expect any presents however I can never have too many nappies, wipes, lotions, etc. Have fun.
