Avon

I used to buy a few Avon products, I don’t buy quite as much now but I have reviewed some of them on BH.

My neighbour is an “Avon lady” I love when the book is dropped off, spend hours looking at it………..I think I must have nearly every lipstick they have to offer, love them

I’ve just signed on as a rep and went to BH to look at the products listed and what people have rated them at. It’s a great reference tool.

Yes I recall a pretty long time ago I got an Avon product as my purple loyalty gift, so BH definitely supports the brand, even if they are not advertised on the site 🙂

Forgive me if I’m repeating an old topic but I’m new around BH.

I’m curious Avon isn’t listed in the products list.
I used to sell it for 15 years and they seem to be a name that most people are familiar with.

They cover pretty much every area of beauty from hair to toes….why are they not included?

Is there a criteria for which brands are included here?

Welcome to the site! That’s a perfectly good question. We would absolutely LOVE to have Avon on the site. Actually, there are many brands that are currently not listed on beautyheaven but that we would love to have on board but it’s just a case of helping the brands to understand that bh is a worthwhile site to showcase their products. Often it’s just a simple matter of budget or perhaps the brand is focusing its marketing efforts elsewhere but nonetheless we still support these brands by including them in our content. http://bit.ly/lY2e9v

I don’t know. Maybe it’s because they sell their own products with their own catalogues and have their own website with a forum, that they didn’t want to be a part of BH.

On the products section of the website, it says something like ‘list or product here’ and its for companies. I think companies have to say something…. I dunno. But yeah, i tried to search for avon awhile back! Plus face of australia isn’t listed either… oh well.

If avon wanted to b on this site they would already b on here!
I think it is up to them to approach BH ???
