anyone bought from wowshop.co before?

hey ladies!

i recently bought from an online nail polish website called http://www.wowshop.co. i placed my order last night but then it was only after that that i was struck by an unexplainable paranoia that it may be a scam website?

i googled it, but there were no reviews on it. however, their credit card payment seem to be authorized by a trustworthy payment gateway (authorize.net) and their paypal is also verified.

i held onto my order for a few days, and from the first to second day, i realise that one of the nail polishes in my cart went out of stock! so does that mean people were buying?

on a local forum (i live in Singapore), one user said that they ordered on sunday night and the package came on friday. but that their customer service isn’t very good which explains why they haven’t replied the two emails i sent them.

but then another user said that they ordered on 15 feb but haven’t received a shipping confirmation from them.

i really don’t know what to do. my order is about SGD 165, so i’m quite worried that it’s a fake website. so how? has anyone ordered from them before? if you haven’t ordered from them, what’s your take on this and what should i do now?

Hi! I also buy nailpolishes from wowshop.co. recently the email reply service has become terribly inefficient and I’ve been waiting for my china glaze crackle to be shipped for like 2 weeks now. it’s really annoying! they’re really slow 🙁 sigh.

Roxymisha: thanks for the advice! Upon some pressing, I’ve finally received a reply from them over email, in which they say that they should be shipping my orders out on Monday. (: Thanks for the information though. Didn’t know I could call up the bank to ask them to investigate.

Rabi: Yeah ): But then shipping orders below US$120 would incur a US$20 shipping fee, which isn’t very worth it for just one or two bottles. And I admit I was very tempted by their large range of polishes!

Glad everything has worked out. Agree that they have an impressive list of polishes which is sooooo tempting. Do keep the bank tip in mind but I hope you don’t have to use it. x

dimes if i was u and u want to try a new website to buy from just try with one cheap product and for me ai have a different bank account for paypal only i think thats safer

I have ordered from this site and had no problems. I received a shipping confirmation and the products arrrived well packaged so I do not believe it is a fake site. Suggest you contact them again via email and put your questions to them with a date that you want a response from them. Also state that you haven’t received a shipping confirmation. If you want to cancel the whole order tell them in your email if you are uncertain that you will get the products. You can also fax them on: fax at 1-347-368-4904. I would send a fax and another email.

If all else fails, you can contact Paypal or/and your bank and ask them to investigate which they are obliged to do if you have not received the goods you ordered. Hope all is sorted out to your satisfaction.
