    Hello,

Use products designed for dandruff. Medicated shampoos are not what you need, they contain anti-fungal agents, which can disrupt natural balances. Most of them also have really harsh ingredients-Head and shoulders for DRY SCALP has Sodium lauroyl sarcosinate, Ammonium lauryl sulfate, AND Sodium sulfate.

Tea tree oil is touted as the cure-all. It`s fantastic, and I support people using it and other natural solutions to problems. However, it is an anti-fungal/bacterial, and unless that`s the cause of your dandruff, it`s unnecessary, potentially harmful, and drying.

    Hope this help.

Whatever your choice, I think it is very important that it doesn`t contain Sodium Lauryl Sulphate, as I have found that to contribute to a dry itchy scalp. I have heard many positive stories about the MooGoo, it is a top seller at a friends health food shop.

Hi there I also suffer from dandruff/dry itchy scalp and have literally tried everything to make it go away. My skin and scalp is very sensitive so many traditional medicated shampoos/conditioners simply make the problem worse and dry it out further (Head and Shoulders especially).

Here is what I use to help manage it – MooGoo Milk Shampoo & Conditioner (apply conditioner from ears down only as it`s very rich). I wash my hair every second day and let it dry naturally. I also like Al`chemy Rosemary Shampoo and Avocado and Calendula Conditioner and rotate them with MooGoo. Once a week I use 1/4 cup apple cider vinegar to 1 cup warm water and rinse my hair thoroughly. I also make my own hair and scalp treatment using 100% pure almond oil (1/4 cup) and 8 drops of rosemary oil (you can also use tea tree oil). Apply it first to the scalp, massage it in and then apply to the mid shafts and ends of the hair. Wrap hair in a towel or glad wrap overnight then wash out in the morning.

My hair is very long (almost to my lower back) and stays healthy and shiny using this combination of products. For anyone who gets eczema or psoriasis on the scalp I have also had success using MooGoo Scalp Cream 🙂 hope this helps!
