Allergies – they can go both ways

HI all!

A question for you beauties out there, realting to allergy – for any ideas or help

Often there are ppl with allergy to pets – their fur etc. Its possible but less usal for a pet to show allergic reaction to us- but i wondered if anyone had issues of pets wh odo – but its maybe a reaction to your makepu or products that you wear??

I know from things i was taught in theory for science and lab classes (where they can refer to the body outsides and what come off it – skin, hair etc as ‘dander’ ) that part of the reason why lab workers in animal zones wear protective gear isnt just to sotp getting sick or contamination from the animals, but its a two wat thing, to stop the animals getting anything from waht is on us..

but basically its a Q if you have pets that react to you – and if you know why or what does it – if its a product?

I have 2 dog nad genereally its always ok but sometimes they both (but 1 much more than the other) can sort of look like what is on me is making then steer their head away, sometimes sneeze even. But i can work out what or narrow down any 1 thing. ANd evne wving a few bottles i suspected in fronto f thme did nothing (and i felt like a meanie).

ideas?
sorry this is such a long post!
Nat

Dogs are supposed to hate citrus, same for cats. They also hate strong alcoholic or acetone smells in my experience.

I can’t be near most aerosol fragrances due to sneezing and asthma. I can’t see why a dog would be any different.

I have had my cat react to certain perfumes and deodorants. She sneezes like crazy. Maybe start there?

    thanks for the response Jen.

i had felt its prob the scents more than the contact or nearnes to powders etc. But i cant realy tell if any one thing is doing it – or a bottle of it alone. May be its the reaction when worn. And i dont hardly wear any perfumes anymore actually.

    thanks again

I’ve never had a pet react to me, but it certainly sounds plausible from what you’ve said 🙁
