Advice Needed – Skin Problem Growing

Hi ladies. Long time. Anyways i have noticed my skin is getting worse day by day and is mostly due to my fault. I haven’t been cleaning my face properly and tend to go to sleep with my make up on too. The only thing i do is wash my face with any bloody bath soap i can find and a slop of nivea on.

That’s the whole story. Now my skin is showing signs. I have these white stuff coming out of my skin when i squeeze it and it seems to be growing and growing in all areas. I had that problem mainly on the nose but now i can find heaps on my neck and under the chin. Forehead u name it. I can’t help squeezing them out and tend to leave ugly marks on my skin.

I want to establish a routine now. I have asked hubby to buy me a facial steamer and am looking at using a mask, scrubber, cleanser, toner and moisturiser.

So how do i put this. First i scrub using what? Then steam my face. Then apply the mask, cleanse, tone and moisturise the skin. Steamer and mask will be done once a week but scrubbing, cleansing, toning and moisturising daily.

Can u wonderful ladies make suggestions please. I prefer keeping everything from 1 brand but not compulsory. Currently i using biore nose strips but that seems to make it worse. I also use those exfoliating gloves. r they any gud?

I am not sure if my problem is caused by having oily skin or dry skin needing moisturising. The skin on my body feels dry but my hair is very oily.

Thanks for your help.

Great products Rachelk!!! They are all favourites of mine too and my skin is very sensitive/combination/acne prone in t-zone. Melmeko got me onto Moo Goo products a while ago and I will not use anything now except Cetaphil or Moo Goo. I love their Milk Wash (I use this on my face) then finish with Cetaphil Gentle Skin Cleanser. In the mornings I apply Moo Goo Anti Ageing Cream and a little Cetaphil Moisturising Lotion if I need a bit more moisture.

I also use Moo Goo shampoo and conditioner, milk soap for my body and the Full Cream moisturiser at night. Seriously amazing stuff and makes my skin soft as silk (it smells pretty good too)!

PS. St Ives Apricot scrub is beautiful and one of the best ones out there in my experience. Dr LeWinns Facial Polishing Gel is my other fave xxx

    Hey there,
My good friend is a therapist & she put me onto Lendan skin care. I rave on and on about it all the time because I absolutely love it. If you check out lendan.com.au you can get free samples & try before you buy. I switched to Lendan from an expensive active treatment skincare & have honestly seen great results.

Shulll87 I know how you feel darl, when my first born was still a newborn I started using Johnsons, coz that is what they had in the hospital and I was a new mum who didn’t know. Thank goodness for BH though or I would have never known. My second born thankfully didn’t have to experience it at all. I am glad I found out in time. I just used some of the natural alternatives available, your local health store is a great place to start. Yes MooGoo is wonderful for bubs, I even used the scalp cream on my daughters cradle cap, all of their products are completely safe 🙂
rachelk glad the links helped darl, I feel like screaming this out to the world coz so many mums have no idea 🙂

I do love using QV products but I have used it for over 10 years and I feel like I have blocked pores 🙁 . I have now changed to cetaphil and I feel like its really gentle and nice on the skin! 🙂
