acne scars

i have just stopped getting teenage acne (although i still get the occassional blemish now and then) but i’ve still got dark spots/scars everywhere.. does anyone know any inexpensive treatments that can fade them? i used retin-a for about three months before i realised i was getting nowhere. any suggestions would be helpful 🙂

I am now using rosehip oil to help rehydrating my skin..dry skin tends to leave scars more easily or take longer time to recover (thats what I heard)…rosehip oil has healing property too..and its natural..doesn`t clog pores..I`ve seen improvement on my face~ ^^…as I have now been using rosehip oil as moisturizer every night.I wonder if thats a bit too rich…I`m now tempted to try Jurlique herbal recovery gel (very expensive..$155 for 100mL) or the calendula cream~hmmmm… ^^..

Em, i don`t know if you have tried Calendula cream by Jurlique. It helps with scar healing. Suitable for acne prone and sensitive skin. Or try Philosophy`s Micro-delivery mini pads, but this one you have to be careful as its high fruit acids, AHA, it`s easier to get sunburn if sunscreen is not applied.
