I always start doing my Christmas shopping at the after Christmas sales. Keep a note book with names of people I give to & details of clothes sizes & favorite colours. This way if I see something nice such as a shirt in the style someone ie brother will wear I can buy it. etc… I start putting away early. Do more shopping at mid year sales & tidy up loose ends just before Christmas. Also if on Christmas day you eat out ie restaurant there is no rushing round buying food, each family just pays for their own.

I`m just no good at storing presents in a cupboard for six months or more. I have enough clutter in my house that I just don`t have the room to store a lot of presents for a long period of time. I find with my family and friends that tastes can change so quickly that it`s best to get an idea of what they want just before xmas. If I can across a fantastic bargain that is just too good to refuse I may break my rules. I enjoy going late night shopping at Christmas but it can be stressful with the busy crowds, fights for car spaces and you have no idea what to buy!

I think time is going faster than ever before- fast food, fast cars, fast love, everything is so sped up. its true, when we were younger time went by so slowly, but now, i cherish it with every moment. my heart goes out to you sharna! i could never imagine loosing a child.

As a teen I couldn`t wait to hit 18 and then 21. The time did seem to drag on for ever and ever. Time is precious and it just makes me think that I need to be more productive 🙂
