False nails

Hi,
Advice needed please!

Im a guy, but i’m interested in getting a set of acrylic or gel nails sometime for myself (part dare /part curiosity).
I’m after something that looks realistic and feminine, and something that appears natural so can be painted. The catch is ill only be wearing them for 48 hours.
I’ve seen the glue on nails before but haven’t been impressed with how they look. Hence why I’m interested in going this idea.
What’s the best way to go about this? Is there much of a process involved in removal? (can it be done at home?).

I’m pretty set on getting some type of acrylic or gel, with tips. I’m not entirely sure what options are around though. Can these be removed by soaking with acetone by me at home?

I’ve done a lot of research on this topic!
Frankly 48 hours isn’t worth getting a full set of acrylic or gel but yes, to answer your question, you can remove at home with acetone.
However, make sure you do a lot of research about how to best remove them at home. Ie. time, what to use, creams to help hydrate.

I personally use press on nails almost weekly, much cheaper than getting them done professionally. If you prep your nail and apply the, right, they can look really fantastic!

How about the gel nail polishes. You can try that.

I think the stick on’s would be best for something like this LOL as you can take them of quickly. The only other thing that wouldn’t ruin your nails and quick to remove if you’re being serious are powder nails which is a new thing salons are doing. Good Luck!
