Thick and short lashes, its hard for a curl to hold.

The worst type of lashes to have are thick short ones because there’s no point.
when I put mascar on I want my eyes to look bigger and lengthens long!:) but it’s hard for thick short lasts to hold A curl because they fall down.

Asian brand mascaras would be my suggestion. I heard Majolica Majorca (subsidiary of Shiseido) do an awesome one.

One of my friends has the same problem, but she found a salon that did eyelash perming, she said it took about 40 minutes but wasn’t uncomfortable and the results were really good, Her eyes looked a lot bigger.

Oh I was just going to say that! I curl my eyelashes everyday and I find that if it’s forecast to rain/really humid and muggy the curl kind of comes out, but if I heat my eyelash curler with my hairdryer first the curl stays in much much better!

my lashes are far out straight! have tried many mascaras but none that could hold and wasnt waterproof. and then!!! i tried Maybellines XL Bold Orange ( a double end mascara) and its awesome!! I curl my lashes as usual and slather it on. It holds all day and can easily come off. Girls, defintely try this coz it has definitely worked for me. Hope this helps you with your hunt 😉

I think these videos are really good in teaching you how to keep your lashes curled. 🙂

My lashes love staying stubbornly straight but I have found a couple of things that help.
The first has already been mentioned, waterproof mascara! It definitely helps hold curls.
However, the problem in the first place is often not being able to form a curl. I heat my eyelash curler with my hairdryer for a few seconds and let it cool a but so that it’s hot but won’t burn my skin.
    Hope this helps!

I have really thin lashes that can’t hold a curl to save it’s life. No matter how much I curled, once I put on any mascara, it would just droop again.
    Try a waterproof mascara.
Or.. if you have a current mascara you love the look and finish of, apply a waterproofing agent underneath as a base so that it can hold curl, I’m currently using Clarin’s one.
I use both methods, neither has failed me.

i have such a problem with getting my lashes to hold a curl, it’s a nightmare! But i finally tried a waterproof mascara and it actually works, it holds your curl!! I used the max factor false lash effect mascara in waterproof, i wouldn’t recommend the mascara cause it’s nothing special BUT it does hold a curl. I’m not gonna lie washing it off is a massive PAIN though.

Another thing that i do as i only have tried 1 waterproof mascara, with my other normal mascaras i with curl my lashes first then put the mascara on
then once that has dried i will use a heated eyelash curler to push my lashes up. This work well, the curl isn’t as great as with the waterproof mascara and it will droop a bit during the day but it will still be curled. Hope this helps 🙂

You might want to check out more asian brand mascaras because I find that those brands cater to short droopy lashes. My fave right now is Shiseido Lasting Lift Mascara. It really holds a curl well. Also, you might like a heated lash curler. When I do my lashes it is a bit of an event but once it’s done it stays until I take it off. I curl my lashes with a heated curler, then I curl my lashes with a regular curler for 10 seconds at least. After, I apply my fave curling lengthening mascara. Some people like waterproof because it holds a curl really well. I don’t because it is so hard on my lashes.
