Iconic Beauty Products.

I`ve never heard of the dry shampoo so will have to look around for that. Great Lash mascara is probably the first mascara many girls had in the 70/80s. I can remember in the early 80`s that if you had one you were pretty cool as it was THE makeup item to have. LOL

i think I only used Great Lash when I was about 15… I only used it then because it was all I could afford! I agree, it isn`t that amazing, but for someone who can`t afford a Hypnose mascara it does the job I guess!

Very interesting article…I do disagree with some products though, but I guess it`s each to their own. I find the Clarins beauty flash balm and maybelline great lash entirely overrated…but of course pawpaw rocks, and some of the other items on the list I`ve been keen to try for a while!

Gr8 article. Hee hee, i didn`t realise that benetint was originally cre8ed 4 that use! Very interesting 🙂 the gr8 lash mascara i`ve had that about 15years ago & can`t believe its still going strong. Clarins beauty flash balm is gr8 2 so i`m not surprised that it`s in the list. Shu Uemura surprised me, i didn`t realise they had a product from that long ago with such origins.

I just took a look at that site, and wow, Lucas Pawpaw Ointment has been around for over 100 years? How.. interesting

I remember the shampoo too Purplegirl, my Mum used to use it, as a child I thought it was magic 🙂

I`m pretty sure I remember my sister using Great Lash when I was about 5, which I hate to admit was 36 years ago. I must say, I didn`t think much of it either when I tried it. I don`t think it made me look like I had any mascara on at all. Another sister used to use the dry shampoo many moons ago too. Geez I`m getting old!

I don`t like Great Lash either, it`s one of the worst mascara`s I`ve tried.
