Effect of sunblock on eye skin

I apply Hamilton Quadblock SPF30+ Sunblock every day and to stop the rest of my face from looking a slightly different colour from my eyelids, I usually also dab a little onto my eyelids. However, since eye skin is quite delicate, I’m worried that daily use could be damaging.

According to this website, it includes:

4 – Methylbenzylidene Camphor 4.0%

Octyl Triazone 1.5%

Titanium Dioxide 7.4%

Preservative Content – Total hydroxybenzoate esters 0.5%, Diazolidinyl Urea 0.2%

Help, please? =D

Ooh really? Thank goodness, I thought it becoming totally everyday to have these weird chemicals in our products now.
I`ve found a few organic sunscreens but I`m not sure how effective they are. They`re awfully expensive too, sigh.

Thanks for your help BB ^^ The website is super handy~

Hi KarenSaid – I use this website alot and have found products that are chemical free. You mentioned that this is a bit worrying to you, it scares me to death (well nearly). I wonder if one day the products we use or if certain ingredients are going to found to be as harmful as asbestos! Who knows, but I choose not to take the risk. Anyway enough of my ramblings, glad to be able to help.

    Cheers

Thanks for the link Beauty Bee! Awesome site ^^

I looked up a few of my other products; it seems like a lot of ingredients used in everyday products are a bit strange and often unhealthy! Maybe I should start buying more organic products? This is worrying me a bit =/

Hi Miss Krispy – with the cosmetics data base you will be spending a lot of time checking out ingredients etc once you are hooked. I regularly go and check out products. They are always updating when formulars change as well. Happy looking

    Cheers BB
