Eeeeeep! Raceday help!

Hey girls!

I’m pretty new on the site so my apologies if I am posting in the wrong spot!

My other half won tickets to The Melbourne Cup this Tuesday and I’ve bought myself a lovely new dress but haven’t had a chance to think of how to do my hair and make-up!

Being that I’m a make-up artist, I could come up with something but would love your thoughts on mu and hair!

Hair I am stuck on majorly – my usual is a pony tail and being that it’s a big deal race I feel like I need to do more!

    I`d go for a soft updo but it depends on whether you`re wearing a hat or fascinator.

    I like the idea of the side pony… It`s my birthday tomorrow and I`m spending it by myself sings bridget jones Allllllllll byyyyyyy myyyyyseeeellllllllllllllllf! ends song so I might experiment with that then!

    oh the dress in pretty maybe u could do a smoky eye and for the hair maybe u could curl it and leave it in a half up ,half down do or a side pony tail ,they r so chic

    Oh I love the sound of the smokey eye with purple! Didn`t even think of that! (I can do other peoples mu and be really creative but get stuck in a rut with my own!)

    Lips – Thank you! My lips are one of my fave parts of my face so thank you! I was thinking a deep pink lip would look good – I love my trademark red lips but think it would clash to much with my dress what do you think?

    Any ideas for hair??

    Love the dress. I`d go for a soft smokey eye with a touch of purple like in the dress and then I`d go for either a nude lip or a bright colour to reflect the dress if you`re feeling a liitle more daring as you have great shaped lips.
