BE (Beauty Essentials) Rosehip Oil from Priceline

Hi everyone!

First things first, I’m quite excited to have joined BH. Loving all the reviews/info in here. 🙂

So I visited Priceline recently and saw that they had released their own range of skin care products called Beauty Essentials. Has anyone tried them? Their rosehip oil is at $10 a dropper bottle. Wanted to ask for opinions or reviews first.

It’s definitely cheaper than A’kin, Sukin and Kosmea (etc) ones… but will it work just as good?

I’m a big fan of rosehip oil however I’m hesitant to try the Priceline Beauty Essentials RHO. Mainly because it doesn’t seem as ‘natural’ as other brands. If you have a look at the ingredient list, it has added fragrance – whereas other more expensive RHOs won’t have added fragrances.

I suppose it’s not a big problem if you don’t have sensitive skin

It looks a teeny bit dodgy to me. The whole line/packaging in particular just looks too plain and uninviting. My eyes tend to glaze over them in store which is why I’ve never really bothered to look at any of the products. Keep in mind with the RHO that it’s only for 15ml. When there are specials on Sukin/Priceline skincare etc then it’s great value to stock up on the big bottle.

    Hi Stella
I have used a few products from the range so far and none have failed to impress! I’ve tried their gel cleanser which is very mild but very effective, the rosehip oil which was just as good if not better than the A’kin and Trilogy versions, and my current love is their eye cream.
I have dark circles (nothing major but still a concealer job) and was talking to a MECCA cosmetica artist, who recommend I tackle the dark circle issue with an eye treatment instead of slapping on concealer and hoping it was magical. I did think it was bs originally, but the Priceline BE eye cream turned the tables on that.
Its all quite cheap, with the same ingredients the big brands use, just with simple and fool proof, no frills packaging. Its really a find, id recommend pretty much the whole line.

(Not affiliated by the way, just thrifty and a little obsessed with Priceline)

    Hi stella927, and welcome!!

I have not tried the Beauty essentials range but as long as rose hip oil is the only ingredient and it hasn’t been mixed with preservatives or diluted with other ingredients then it should work just as well as other rose hip oils.

I have tried a few rose hip oils, trilogy, sukin and a’kin they are all organic which is better than standard non- organic rosehip oil but it still will work good.
