About me
I haven't seen the sun since 1994, so I look a lot younger than my contemporaries. I am starting to notice the first real signs of age now that I am nearing 40, so I might hit the botox soon as a preventative measure. I have been really lazy and unbothered so far, because I have a nice collection of products which are the result of copious amounts of obsessive research. I am a research scientist by day as well, so I take my research seriously :) This is my usual routine, but I like to let myself be lazy too, and also like to be creative and try new things. 1. Oils to cleanse/massage my face (i love mixing my own oils from Garden of Wisdom! nowadays there are some beautiful oil cleansers out there also). 2. My HG BHA is Stridex pads in the red box (max strength) . Inexpensive and the best. 3. My HG AHA is Alpha-H Liquid Gold. Unglues dead dull skin and leaves your skin dewy, even if you don't use moisturiser afterwards! 4. Some sort of serum with an active in it e.g. vitamin C or niacinimade 5. Cerave moisturiser 6. Vaseline as an occlusive to repair the moisture barrier and to let the actives do their work overnight!!!Age range
40 - 60

The proof is in the pudding
I\'m wearing this perfume at the moment in the absence of a current fave. I ended up with it, because a friend of mine said that a girl she had a fight with left it at her house, and she... Read full review
Touch of Spice is a staple
This lipstick in Touch of Spice looks good on literally EVERY girl. It\'s a neutral rosy pink that is just immaculate. Trust me, buy one without even testing it first - - and stash it in your makeup bag. TOUCH... Read full review
Liquid gold is liquid gold
I use Liquid Gold twice weekly minimum, at night ONLY (be careful of photosensitivity). Or, I use it every other night. First I use Stridex Pads (red) for BHA (ungunk your pores), then I follow with Liquid Gold for my... Read full review
Gimmick item
These strips prey on a misconception about our \'blackheads\' and/or large pores on the nose. These are not blackheads - they are called \"sebaceous filaments\". These strips are not the way to get rid of them... as you will all... Read full review
baking soda and biore are no go's
I tried this out of curiosity, knowing full well that baking soda should go NOWHERE near the face. I am hoping Biore tested the pH level of the final product. Skin broke out a little, which cheap scrubs tend to... Read full review
