About meI am now retired from my ceramic art practice due to health problems I have had 6 back operations and am not allowed to lift anything heavy now, so had to give it up. I started by studying at TAFE and then on to university gaining a BA in visual arts in my late 40's. I am a wife, a mother to 2 children one boy and one girl both married and I am also a grandmother now too. My husband and I moved into a retirement village a couple of years ago so we could downsize our home and make life easier for us both. We enjoy cooking and trying new food and recipes.and entertaining our friends. We love to travel especially cruising and visiting new countries. We both drive and also like to travel around WA and visit other Australian States. As I get older I find I don't wear much makeup now but I do use a skin moisturiser and anything to help my ageing skin , I also use lipstick and a light touch of a bronzer to define my face,I do my toenails and fingernails with varnish , as well as use a light dusting of powder over a base when we go out. Sunscreen and lip balm are also used living in Perth we get a lot of sun, so it all helps.I have a very dry skin and use a lot of moisture lotions all over my body too. My hair is now going grey which I dont mind but it does tend to be dry so I use a good shampoo and conditioner and often give it a good full conditioning treatment My teeth are ok but I would like them a shade whiter I was born in the UK but lived most of my early years in Africa then back to the UK and after meeting my husband when we were teenagers we then married and I returned back to Africa before coming to Perth in the 1970's with my husband and two kids.
