Before I started a 10 month course of Viviscal (good but no effect on hair loss), I tried Regaine 5% foam. I wish I could say it worked or did something but I couldn't use it for any longer than a week as it irritated the life out of my scalp! I had a similar issue with 'Serioxyl' but on a much smaller scale and that was totally manageable. Regaine wasn't! I now find using a SLS-free shampoo (any brand) has made a big difference to my hair condition, and adding 'Divine herbal hair oil' twice weekly to my evening routine has noticeably thickened my hair. Regaine has a lot of good reviews but it's one of those you have to test out for yourself in case of a sensitivity to any of its ingredients.

I use a nose strip every week, twice a week to keep the pores on my nose clear. Several times I've strayed and used other brands but Biore is the one I keep coming back to as it's the best in terms of quality. Granted it doesn't lift everything out of my pores, but whatever I don't capture the first time, I seem to do so the next time around. These do leave your skin slightly red for a minute, which is why I use them on Wednesdays and Sundays only, giving plenty of time for my skin barrier to recover. I always follow with my Mario Badescu toner to remove any bits of adhesive still on the sides of my nose and then some Aloe Vera gel to soothe. Most people will not need to though, I seem to suffer from very sensitive skin! All in all these are excellent and would never be without them!

I took these every AM after breakfast and dinner with a glass of water for almost 10 months but didn't notice any major difference - apart from one thing: my hair became a lot softer! Nothing on the hair loss side of things though. I then switched to a SLS free shampoo (any brand) and also started using Divine herbal hair oil 2 x weekly and hair loss has all but gone. Regrowth is there too. Viviscal did work, my hair condition is a lot better, but it didn't work the way I expected it to. If it was on offer I'd be tempted to buy it again for the effect on my hair, but wouldn't expect it to do anything more than that...it is just a high-collagen supplement after oil, not something topical that you can apply to your hair roots/scalp.

I got this in the handy travel size which is perfect for those long haul plane journeys where your skin starts to dry out due to cabin air. I spritz this lightly over my face (doesn't disturb makeup) and leave it a few minutes to settle. My skin feels much better and soothed. I also spritz this over my face once I've applied foundation/makeup on a morning as it stops it looking cakey and settling into fine lines. Yes it might sound crazy - the idea of spritzing water over your face but keep in mind the quality and source of the water which in this case is mineral-rich and makes all the difference.
