I love this razor, I don't think i've ever used one that's been so close and not caused any irritation! The Schick Hydro Silk has 5 blades (usually I use a disposable razor with 3 blades) I think the 5 blades really helps with the close shave you get, i can go almost 3 weeks between shaving my legs with this razor. The Moisturising strip is quite long lasting, not like some razors which the strip either crumbles or stops working after the first use. I like the handle too, it fits nicely into your hand and the grooves in it keep your grip when you have shaving cream or body wash on your hands. The refill cartridge blades are a little expensive, but i think really worth it in the scheme of things. Especially for young girls shaving for the first time i think a proper razor like this would definitely save a few chunks out of the knees or ankles!

This moisturiser held so much promise for me, I get quite dry skin especially on my legs and i loved the sound of a lotion with coconut oil, vitamin E, sweet almond oil, coconut water, coconut milk, macadamia nut oil, shea butter and cocoa butter. I mean you couldn't fit anything else in there! My first impressions on the smell weren't great, there's definitely a coconut smell but its quite artificial. Palmer's lotions usually smell really good, so that was a little disappointing. I felt that the moisturiser really didn't "sink in" more sat on the surface of my skin (even noticeable when I next showered, it was like a film on my skin). I use a body scrub regularly which should have aided in the absorbtion and usually does with other moisturisers, however this one like i said just felt like it sat on the surface like a film. I still have over half a bottle so i might give this a whirl again in summer.

Now this isn't going to go down as an all time favourite but it's still such a gorgeous scent. I like the zesty scents as well as the mix of sandalwood which i can smell quite strongly in this perfume, that tends to stick out the most for me during the day. I wouldn't wear this scent everyday but it does remind you of summer as it's name suggests. Like a day on the beach, you can't do it everyday!

I don't tend to use a specific night cream, preferring serums and products i know won't leave my face feeling heavy before I go to bed. I received a deluxe sample of this night cream and was a little hesitant to try it for fear of it being just that, too heavy and clogging up my sometimes oily skin. It has many nourishing ingredients, some of these are quite heavy though like cocoa butter, coconut oil and shea butter. But as my skin had been a bit dry after lots of air travel i thought i'd give it a go. Its quite thick when it comes out of the tube, but a little goes a very long way. There is a slight cocoa butter smell, like 99% of Palmer's products. As i expected it did feel a little heavy on my face, kind of like i'd but on a silicone face mask! I was going to wipe it off the first night, but after about 10 minutes when it had soaked in it was barely noticeable. The next morning my face felt so hydrated, not dry at all (especially around the eyes and mouth where i tend to get some dryness). I've been used it for about a month now and only occasionally skip it in favour of an overnight sleep mask. Overall a surprising little package. It definitely punches well above its weight in price as well.

I was really looking forward to trying this conditioner, the brand and ingredients sounded great. But maybe becuase i don't really fit it's target of "restore thickness and life to thinning, lacklustre hair" i just found it a bit meh I have quite thick hair and after using this conditioner for a month I can't really say it's any better than others i've tried. It smells like men's deodorant if i'm honest, it's quite strong and i've had my partner use it and he agrees. I haven't noticed any less hair dropping which is does claim to aid in. My hair does feel shiny and healthy after use but i'm not sure it's enough to stick with it. Might have to give other shampoo/conditioners from Klorane a go.

I'm not sure what i was expecting when i saw this mask, for some reason i didn't have high hopes. But boy oh boy was i surprised! The mask itself is quite thin, which i liked (not a fan of the super thick consistency of some clay masks) and spreads quite easily. There is a slight honey scent, not too sweet but it's definitely there. It contains charcoal, manuka honey and kaolin clay so all the good stuff, especially since honey has good healing properties. It sets quickly but not tight. I left it on for about 15 minutes. I have combination skin and do tend to get random spots now and then and i definitely saw a noticeable difference the morning after using this mask (my make up also seemed to go on smoother too) For a product that is all natural and a good price this mask is definitely a winner in my book.

I used to just remove my make up with a first cleanse, but figured if i was to get the most out of my cleansers i should bother to remove the makeup first. The Micellar claimes to cleanse, remove make up and tone so it fitted the job. It's non-greasy as described and is quite refreshing. It seems to get most of my foundation off, as for eye make up I think it could be better but nothing a specific eye make up remover won't fix. It has a slight smell, it's just a clean smell. As much as this product claims to be a 3 in one i'd still try to cleanse and tone afterwards, especially if using is specifically to remove make up as it doesn't remove everything. I think it's on par with the other Micellar waters i've used, not out of this world but does it's job in my skincare routine. In terms of time and effort i'd say a cream/foaming cleanser to remove make up would work better and faster, but for it's cleansing and toning properties it works well and leaves a good result.

I recently received this JERGENS cream in a subscription box, and i wouldn't normally use tanning products but after a recent experiment with foam tanner i was interested to see how this cream compared. The cream doesn't have a strong smell, is white and looks just like a sorbelene cream (i don't know why i was expecting it to be brown...) I tried to keep my application as even as possible and i was just doing my legs. The next morning my legs were already glowing, so i'm really surprised how fast this worked i was expecting it to take weeks to show. I used this product for 3 days before i reached the tan colour i liked, then not applying it for the next few days the glow lasted about a week. It did get a bit patchy but that might just have been my skin It did give me the confidence to wear a skirt and shorts without my pasty legs on show.

At the ripe old age of 24 if i look really close i can see the fine line around my eyes already, which only look worse when i'm tired. So off i've gone on the hunt to find a good eye cream. I was really excited to get a couple of duluxe samples of this eye treatment (enough to trial it out for about 6 weeks). I used it as part of my night routine The formula contains some very sciencey ingredients "acetyl hexapeptide-8 and palmitoyl hexapeptide-12 to stimulate collagen production" and "hydrolysed rice protein, grape seed extract and sodium RNA to support skin’s natural repair process" which all sounds pretty good. My main eye concerns are dark circles and these blasted fine lines. I wish i'd taken before and after pics to judge the brightening effect of this cream (serum? it's a clear gel...) but i do honestly think it's brightened my eyes up, definitely not all gone but the darkness and the extent (how large the dark circles were) has definitely reduced. Which i'm really happy about! As for the fine lines, I'm not 100% convinced they're "diminished" but my eye are is definitely more moisturized and concealer has been going on smoother which is another bonus in my book. Most likely down to the Hyaluronic acid which my skin seems to be particularly loving in my skincare these days. It is a bit pricey, but a little bit does go a long way. I've got a few other eye creams to try out but this one remains top of my favorites list (and i already think it's on my repurchase list!)

I was lucky enough to get a duluxe sample of this Nude by Nature Natural Mineral Cover in Medium and have been wearing it almost daily for about a month. The medium shade works really well for my skin tone (darker olive). I was quite hesitant about trying this product out because years ago when i used a mineral powder (from a different brand) i found it sat in my pores and didn't give good coverage at all. I was really pleasantly surprised with this one though. I applied my usual moisturiser (waited for that to absorb) before a BB cream and then this mineral powder on top. i found it easy to apply with a kabuki brush and it seemed to set after a few minutes, giving me a nice glowing but matte finish. It's become my go to look for work and i even tried it out while travelling through humid and hot parts of Asia, to my surprise it held up, i didn't feel like my face was melting off and it kept the oil slick back longer than i would have expected. It's easily build-able for a fuller coverage For me the greatest thing about this powder is its coverage, and ability not just to stick to your pores. It's a bit on the pricier scale but for a natural make up brand you can trust i can definitely see myself purchasing a full size version.
