I had not heard of this serum before getting this to trial. I have developed a lot of pigmentation over the years from not using sunscreen in my younger years, so I have been trying many different serums that claim to make dark spots lighter. This product unfortunately did not do that. I have been using it for the last few weeks in the morning and at night, but I have not noticed a difference in my dark spots/pigmentation. In saying that, my spots haven’t gotten worse though, so perhaps this serum helps to prevent more dark spots from appearing. The serum comes in a cool looking holographic pump bottle. I like the bottle. It pumps out the serum neatly and you can easily control how much to pump out. The serum spreads easily onto skin and melts into the skin. There is no scent. I didn’t have any bad reaction to the product either. I was hoping this product might finally be the one that helps my spots fade but unfortunately it didn’t work that way for me.

This is the first time I’ve used a foundation from Clinique and I’m impressed. I have combination skin and this foundation went on evenly and smoothly onto my face. There were no streaks and normally after wearing it for a day, I would not see the foundation clumping or sinking into my pores, which is great! It provides medium coverage and gives a natural finish. The foundation does not fully cover up my pigmentation but I was very happy with the coverage as I don’t like foundation being caked on. It made my skin look quite radiant. It’s quite a silky formula and not thick. It’s easy to blend into the skin using your fingers. The colour of the foundation also did not change after application. You can pour or squeeze the foundation out from the bottle through a thin nozzle at the top. I’m used to pump bottles for foundation but this type of bottle worked well enough.

I got this Jurlique essence as part of the recent Beautorium. I had previously used a sample of it and liked it, although the sample didn’t have a strong scent. As soon as I used the essence from the full sized bottle, the herbal smell just hit me. It’s very strong smelling! I can’t say I’m a big fan of herbal scents. I can tolerate this scent and luckily it does not linger. I have used other essences before (Japanese and korean branded ones) and I noticed that the Jurlique one is slightly less “watery” than the Asian essences. It is very easy to apply though. I just place a few drops on my palm and Pat it all over my face. It feels nice and cooling. It then makes serums and moisturizer easy to apply afterwards. I started using this essence during winter, when my skin became very dry. I haven’t had issues with dryness since using this essence and I’ve been happy with it.

This is the first time I have used a dry makeup remover cloth which you have to wet yourself and I think it’s better than the usual wet makeup remover cloths. Firstly, it’s dry so it’s light and you don’t need to worry about the cloths drying up over time. Secondly, when you wet it, you can determine how damp you want it to be. Thirdly, you can “reuse” it in the sense that after you’ve wiped your face, you can rinse it and continue wiping your skin. I did not notice much of a scent on the cloths. When you wet them, don’t wet them too much. I try to get them damp but not dripping, otherwise when I use it to remove eye makeup, the liquid can get too much around my eyes. I read that these cleansing cloths can exfoliate your skin and I can see how they achieve it because of the texture of the cloth. It has a ribbed texture so when you wipe your skin, it’s a bit “rougher” and helps with exfoliation. My skin does feel smoother too after every use. The only down side with the rougher texture is when using the cloth to remove eye makeup. I find that it’s a bit too rough for the delicate eye area, even when I rub it as gently as I can. My face feels like it gets a good clean from these cloths. They are good for travel too as they are so light, so they can be easily carried around.

I received a little tub of this product as part of my Beautorium order. The packaging looks good with the red bottle and silver cap. The cream itself has a light fragrance. I quite like the smell. I don’t find it overpowering. The texture of the cream appears to be quite light but it can feel a bit oily when applied on the skin. It’s moisturizing enough for me. However, I can’t really see that it makes much difference with helping aging skin. The lines on my face are still the same even after using this cream for a few weeks. In the first few days when I started using this cream, I had a bad break out. I’m not sure if the cream caused it but I continued using it and my skin settled down after 1-2 weeks. I don’t find that there’s anything particularly great about this product. It’s ok as a moisturizer I guess, but it’s not for me.

Thanks to Beautyheaven, I got to trial this foot and heel balm which is a product I definitely need but I have been too lazy to get. I rarely get pedicures or foot scrubs, so my heels have been suffering for a long time. They get dry and cracked but they are always hidden away so I don't pay much attention to them to be honest. As it is almost summer and the weather is not so dry these days, my heels have been better, but they were still a bit dry and cracked. I have been using this balm for a few days and gosh what a difference it makes! I have tried hand creams from the Du'it brand and they have worked well with moisturising my skin so I had high expectations for this foot balm, which have been met. This foot and heel balm comes out as a thick cream. I would recommend applying it just before you go to bed because once it goes on your foot, it can feel a bit slippery. It doesn't quite "soak" into the skin. Instead, it is more like a thick protective barrier around your skin, that's why I don't like walking when I have it on. My feet also feel a bit sweaty after applying the balm. The results? After applying this balm for a few days in a row, my feet are no longer dry or cracked. They feel much smoother. I was very happy with the results!

I was lucky to receive this sunscreen from beautyheaven to review because it came at a perfect time, what with all this hot weather and searing sun. This sunscreen has a very strong coconut smell. I am not a big fan of coconut smell but this scent is quite pleasant actually. Once the product is applied on my skin, I smell like coconut for quite a while. The sunscreen comes out of the tube easily. The product is a thick, white lotion. It advertises itself as a “dry touch lotion”. I’m not sure about that. I slathered this on my left arm but applied a thinner layer on my right arm. My left arm felt oily and continued to feel that way at least 5 minutes later. There was definitely no “dry touch” about that. My right arm wasn’t too bad. After a few minutes, that arm felt normal - the skin wasn’t oily. I guess it’s only dry touch if a thin layer of sunscreen is applied, but the instructions do say “to apply liberally”...... My skin had no reaction to the sunscreen which was good. I felt that this product provided adequate protection against the sun. Overall I like this sunscreen for the body. The one thing to note is that I felt it was only dry touch if I applied a thinner layer to my skin.

This is the first time I have tried a liquid lipstick from Nude by Nature. It comes with a pretty rose gold cap and the bottle is quite long. The colour I got was 04 Soft Petal, which is a nice & somewhat neutral pink colour. It is very easy to use the sponge lip applicator. The lipstick glides on easily and I did not have any issues with the lipstick clumping together. It blended smoothly onto my lips and is not drying. I can also rub my lips together and it doesnt make a mess, unlike other liquid lipsticks I’ve used. Liquid lipsticks are supposed to last longer than normal lipsticks but I found that this one didn’t. After eating, most if not all of the lip colour would be gone from my lips. I’m still looking for that holy grail lipstick which can actually stay on even after eating, if that exists!! There is a faint scent to this product but one that I don’t really notice so that’s a plus. I like this liquid lipstick. There’s a glossy shine to it and it looks good.

This is the first time I have used a lip primer and I was interested to see just how much it could extend the wear of my lipstick. This product comes in a slip white case which is easy to bring around in my hand bag. Because it’s white, it gets dirty easily though. There is no smell to this primer which is good. After I apply it, my lips feel a slight tingle - like a minty tingle, nothing irritating. The feel of this primer reminds me of the Benefit face primer (Porefessional). It has that silicone feel which “fills in” the lines on my lip and primes it for lipstick or whatever lip product you might be using. The instructions on the box say to apply this primer slightly past your lip line and to rub it in. I found that the lip primer may need to be rubbed into my lips with my fingers especially if my lips are a bit dry. I find that this lip primer helps to bring out the colour of the lipstick slightly. I can’t see a big difference between using a lipstick with this primer vs lipstick without this primer. In terms of helping the lipstick last - unfortunately again I couldn’t see a big difference. I drink water often throughout the day so any lipstick rubs off pretty quickly over time. Having this lip primer on didn’t make the colour last much longer so for me. It’s good for prepping lips for lipstick etc but other than that, this is a product that doesn’t do a whole lot for me.

This is the first Nude by Nature lip balm I have tried, and it’s a good product. The lip balm comes in a very slim stick that looks very slick with its gold case. The cap is see through so it allows you to see the colour of the lip balm - useful if you have different colours of this product. When I first tried it, there was a rather strong smell to it that I didn’t quite like. It’s hard to describe the smell but it reminds me of the smell from an old leather couch. The smell is the one thing I dislike about this product, otherwise it ticks the boxes for everything else I expect and like in lip balms: - very moisturizing (which is great for this cold winter weather) - my lips feel protected and hydrated - there is a bit of colour but it is quite sheer. You can apply other lipsticks or glosses over the top of it with no issues. It’s very slim so it’s easy to carry around in my handbag. It’s a lovely little lip balm that I can use everyday.
