This product is great. It comes in a glass jar inside a box. The jar feels heavy and looks quite pretty. It looks like it almost has a scalloped pearl design. I like that inside the lid there is a plastic lift out seal. It means that the jar seals just that little bit extra and the product isn’t quite as exposed to the air. My skin is fairly normal it can be dehydrated. I suffer from rosacea and mild acne. I had zero irritation and it didn’t make any of my existing conditions worse. The cream is lovely and thick but smooths and absorbs easily once applied to the skin. It sinks in beautifully and didn’t leave any residue. I love how it smells. It’s so fresh and almost fruity smelling. It’s not strong or overwhelming and The scent disappears shortly after being applied to the skin. My face was left looking amd feeling smooth, firm and glowy. All the things I want in healthy skin.

The Olay Niacinamide Serum comes in a metallic green box with a silver front. The front is clearly Olay and has a picture of the bottle on it. The bottle itself is a generous 30ml and comes in a sturdy pearlescent bottle with a silver lid. Built into the lid is an auto- dropper dispenser. My skin is normal. It can be dehydrated. It also gets temperamental at the change of seasons which thankfully is not now. I am prone to rosacea and mild acne. Sometimes new products that are quite rich can make the rosacea and acne worse. I got lucky this time and only had a few tiny spots on my chin. Having never knowingly used Niacinamide before I was unsure as to how my skin would react. I’m pleasantly surprised and had no adverse reactions and it had no increase on the issues I already have. On the bottle is instructions on how to use the dropper and how much product to use. It suggests using 2 pumps twice a day. I myself found 2 pumps to be too much. 1 pump was enough for my face and my neck. It’s recommended to Cleanse, Essence Water, Super Serum the Moisturise. I personally don’t use an Essence water but after I cleanse I do use a clarifying lotion. I then followed it with the Super serum an eye cream at night and my day/ night moisturiser and sunscreen as directed. The product itself is a slightly thick, pearlescent serum. It be lightly scented which I normally don’t like in skincare products as I find if each different product is scented it can be too much. This one though is subtle and a gentle floral type scent that is quite pleasant. It doesn’t hang around or linger for too long but every now and then I can notice the scent. The directions say that when twisting the lid the product is drawn into the dropper. You then press a silver button in the lid to dispense it onto your face or hand. Using the dropper I chose to apply it straight to my face. I put product on my cheeks, nose, forehead chin and neck. It applies really nicely and has a silky smooth texture. It absorbs fairly quickly and doesn’t leave any residue. The skin is left feeling nice, smooth and no sticky feeling. In my night time routine I would apply my eye cream after the serum. Let that sit and absorb and then apply my moisturiser. The serum didn’t hinder the absorption of the moisturiser and it was readily absorbed as normal. After using for a few weeks my skin was soft, smooth, more even and had a lovely glow to it. I’m not sure if I’ll continue to use after I finish the bottle I have. It works nicely but it’s also a bit on the pricey side. I might consider grabbing it on special but I’ll see if my results continue to improve with continued use first.

Thanks to BH and Olay for the chance to try the Vitamin C + Dragon Fruit scrub. It comes in a generously sized 125ml tube. It smells delicious and fruity although the dragon fruit I’ve had before didn’t really have much of a scent. My skin is normal but can be dehydrated so I’m always on the lookout for a good exfoliator that is nice and gentle but effective. I also suffer from acne and rosacea which I’m pleased to say we’re not negatively impacted by he product. The scrub is a thick gel with exfoliating particles in it. It’s not super gritty so it feels relatively gentle on the skin when you’re using it. The directions say to massage onto wet face and rinse. It doesn’t specify if you should use it before, after or instead of a cleanser or how often you should use it. I used it in my routine a few times a week in place of my cleanser. I then followed with my normal skincare which is a Clarifying lotion, serum, eye cream and moisturiser. I chose to use it at night and I woke up with beautifully smooth, glowing skin. I’m sure it could be used in the morning but that was how I chose to use it. When applying I squeezed it onto my finger tips and dotted it on my cheeks, chin, nose and forehead. I hen gently massaged it into my face before rinsing with warms water. My skin felt nice and smooth straight after and had a nice healthy glow to it which is always nice. I did find that the products I applied after rinsing the scrub off absorbed better than normal. I really enjoyed using it and it made a nice fruity Addition to my routine. I will continue to use it after the trial. It’s quite affordable for such a generous size and I will be repurchasing when this one runs out.

Thank you so much to BH and Olay for the chance to trial this 2 step product. My skin is normal but can be dehydrated. I also suffer from mild acne and also rosacea. Normally at the change of seasons my skin can be temperamental. Thank goodness though for the start of summer it’s been behaving. It can be difficult finding products that do the job of cleaning and refining my skin. Normally the ones that are strong enough tend to irritate my skin. Both steps come in the same box. Step 1 is a scrub that has a beautiful orange citrus scent and colour. It doesn’t feel like all that much until you actually apply it. It says to use a quarter sized amount. I had to google what the size of a quarter was. I was a little more conservative with mine. I ended up using the size of a small grape/ large pea and generously dotted It on my forehead, chin, cheeks and nose. I then spread it all over my face. It’s very gritty and almost feels a little dry once you start massaging it o to your face. It says to use it on dry skin but I also tried it with damp skin and both worked ok. I did as directed and massaged in to skin for up to 1 minute. You then apply a generous of step 2 AHA Peel activator. Step 2 is a gel type liquid that is clear. I didn’t notice any real scent with it. I guess it might be too much fragrance combined with how strongly step 1 smells. Once you apply step 2 you massage it into your skin. It says that there is a gentle warming sensation which there is. It’s not unpleasant though. It also says the formulas will combine to create a white foam. Mine did turn a little lighter in colour but for me there was no foam. You then massage Until the resurfacing crystals dissolve for up to 1 minute. I did notice that if I wasn’t generous enough with step 2 the crystals didn’t dissolve very well and it was still quite gritty when I rinsed my face with warm water. On the packaging and the container it doesn’t say where in your skincare routine you should use it. If it wasn’t for the BH email I would’ve had no idea. It’s suggested that you use it after a light cleansing. I think ‘light’ is the most important word. Once you try step 1 it’s easy to see and understand that a normal cleanse might make it all seem a bit too much/ full on. It says that you can use it twice a week. I guess it’s up to the individual. For my skin I think once a week would be more than enough. It also doesn’t say if there are any serum ingredients or products that you should or shouldn’t use after you’ve rinsed your face clean. I followed mine with a clarifying lotion, a serum, eye cream and left it at that to relax until just before bed time when I added a gentle moisturiser. When I very first tried it I kept the rest of my routine simple with just a light moisturiser afterwards. Once I knew how my skin reacted (or didn’t react) to the 2 steps I added my serum etc. I found that my skin was nicer in he morning when I used the rest of my skincare and moisturiser after washing my face. Directly after rinsing the products off my skin was pink but not irritated. It also looked fresh and was so lovely and smooth. The following day I noticed that my skin still felt lovely and soft. It was also clear and my pores seemed a little smaller. I’m very pleased to say that there was no irritation whatsoever and it didn’t make my acne or rosacea worse. Having the active ingredients of AHA I was concerned it might be too strong. I had nothing to worry about though. As long as I was vigilant with my sunscreen during the day I was good. I would recommend it to family and friends. It looks like the price is normally around $55.00 On the box it states that there is enough product for up to 8 weeks when being used twice a week. I think I’d wait until it’s on sale.

Thank you so much to Beautyheaven and Skin Physics for the opportunity to try the Dragon’s Blood Deep Wrinkle Filler. I have been noticing more visible signs of ageing and this was a great way to get on top of them. The product comes in the iconic Skin Physics silver box with mostly black and red writing. The product itself comes in a slightly pearlescent red upside down tube (It sits on its lid.) With a silver screw off lid. Under the lid is a silver, metal feel ‘cooling applicator.’ The cream is pale pink and is a nice light texture. It spreads easily and smoothly, leaving the skin soft, smooth and glowing. I started by washing my face with cleanser and a clarifying lotion. Then I applied the product. As directed I used it both morning and night. I then followed it with my SPF, moisturiser or a night cream. I used it on my forehead, around my eyes and spread it towards my temples and a little onto my cheek bones where my wrinkles are spreading to. I also used it on my chin. Although not suggested I used it on some deep lines I have on my neck. The applicator tip has a small hole in the middle of it for dispensing the product. I found it easier to dot the product on then used the applicator to smooth it into the skin. I tried squeezing the product while spreading but I ended up using too much liquid and it was awkward. I let it fully absorb before moisturising and finishing my routine. It says on the box that the formula “quickly absorbs into the skin to instantly create a cushion-like effect, plumping heavy wrinkles and and sealing them at the surface, for a smoother makeup application. I tried using under makeup both with and without primer. It was better than bare skin when just using the product with my Liquid foundation straight over the top. I won’t be throwing away my primer just yet though. Within about half an hour of applying the product my skin was nice and smooth, lightly firmed and looked great. With continued use I noticed my lines and wrinkles started to be less visible and definitely improved. I think with long term use the results would continue to improve, not to the point of them disappearing completely but definitely smoother and less visible. I would definitely recommend it to family and friends. I think I will continue to use the Deep Wrinkle Filler. It’s available at Priceline and they always have sales on skincare items so I can stock up.

Thank you to Beautyheaven and Minenssey for the chance to try the product Lip Spa. Before trying this product I'd heard of but never tried the brand Minenssey before. When I read 'Lip Spa' I really had no idea what to expect. When the product arrived it was in a very classy, quality looking matte dark grey box with the brand in a lighter grey. The product itself is in a generous 12ml tube with a screw top lid. I like that the lid is a screw top so its not going to just pop off if it's in your pocket or bag. When you remove the lid the top of the tube is angled with a small hole hole in the middle for dispensing the product. Very clean and easy to use. I tried both applying straight from the tube to my lips and also using squeezing a bit onto a finger to then apply to my lips. Applying straight from the tube to the lips is the easiest and most hygienic way if your the only one using it. When squeezing the product out, its a clear gel that smell absolutely amazing and of lemon myrtle. I seem to suffer from permanently dry lips which seems especially bad through Summer and the change of seasons. Ive tried many different lip products before both balms and creams. in wind up sticks, in a pot or from a tube. Nothing has ever really seemed to give any long term relief. It all seems to help for a little bit but not as much as I'd hoped. I had no such issues with this though. It seemed to keep my lips hydrated and nourished even after the product had won off. I'm not sure if its a balm, it feels like a gel type texture. It applies very easily and leaves lips feeling silky and smooth but not slimy. It does absorb a little but not so much that you feel you need to reapply constantly. It does feel so nice that you'll want to though. I was very pleased with this product and would have no problems recommending it.

This is a foundation that I lusted after and researched every aspect of it before I originally purchased. When I actually took the plunge it was on sale at Priceline. I may have over thought the purchase way too much but once I tried it for myself all my doubts were gone. I comes in a nice solid square glass bottle with a red lid. When you take the lid off there's a pump top hi how I love. Having a pump makes it so much more hygienic and easy when using. It means your not accidentally pouring out too much foundation that you have to put back into the bottle. I also find without direct access to the air the product seems to last a little longer. Ever since I tried it for the first time I think it's pretty safe to say it's definitely one of my all time favourites. It's one I keep reaching for and if I try something else it's one I always come back to. My skin is normal and can be dehydrated. I also have severe rosacea and mild adult acne. None of this was match for this over achieving foundation though. I didn't even need my redness reducing Primer or a concealer. Even through the day my redness didn't come through and neither did the dark circles under my eyes. Before applying makeup I start by cleansing, clarifying and moisturising/ sunscreen. I then add a Primer, let it dry a little and then apply the foundation. Out of habit I usually put powder over the top but with this one I love the finish and leave the powder in my makeup bag. Last year I went on a holiday in the South Pacific and this foundation held its own. The weather was very hot and humid. I was very sweaty and also in air conditioning. The foundation held up better than I could have hoped. It didn't slide off in the heat or get dry in the air conditioning. At the end of the days when I wear it I feel as though it looks practically as fresh as if I'd just applied it. There are times when I will wear it all day and into the night and I need only the tiniest of touch ups if any. I would definitely recommend it and I will definitely mak sure I never run out of it.

The Olay magnemask Infusion, Rejuvenating Starter kit. comes in a box that includes the jar mask, The magnetic infuser and a bag to put the infuser in. This one is for Fine lines and lack of firmness. Something I have been wanting to find a product to get rid of for a while. My lines, wrinkles and lack of firmness aren't super bad but they're only going to get worse as i get older so I'm hoping to slow things down. Before using there is a recommended regimen: Cleanser Pre Treatment Treatment Mask. for all of these steps it recommends a specific Olay product. I don't have any other Olay products so I went with my normal routine. My skin is normal but can be a little dehydrated. I have rosacea and adult acne. The instructions are quite light on and it doesn't tell you exactly how much product to use. It just says apply a 'certain' amount of product. I cleansed, used a clarifying lotion, a serum then the jar mask. The jar feels quite solid and looks fairly decent. It's clear and has a silver lid. There is a little cap inside the lid that keeps the cream covered. I kind of like this as I feel like the product isn't too exposed to the air making it age. The cream itself is quite thick and almost pearlescent looking. A little bit goes a long way. I dotted the product on my forehead, cheeks, chin and nose. The first time I used it I spread it a little with my fingers before using the infuser. I gently massaged in a circular motion. The magnetic base slides nicely over the skin and you can feel as it is absorbed as the applicator gets 'stuck' on the skin as you move it around. It absorbs quite quickly and leaves no residue on the skin. It does have a slight scent which seems to me remind me of my mother in law. Maybe she uses Olay. It says to apply 3-4 times a week. If you really wanted to I think it's gentle enough that you could use it every night. It might be a bit too rich though. My skin felt nice and soft afterwards, it looked 'glowy' but that could be just from the applicator increasing blood flow to my cheeks I have to be honest, I wanted to love this product but I just didn't see the results it promises. I was interested to try it because of the use of magnets but I'm not fully sold. I'm not sure if my results might be more obvious and increase over time. For a retails price of $55 I'm in no hurry to repurchase

Thank you so much to Beautyheaven and Maybelline. I was so stoked to be a part of this trial team. I love a good foundation and a brand new one is so exciting. The foundation comes in a cylindrical glass bottle. It has black writing with a pink metallic square behind the name 'Dream Satin Liquid'. There's a little black sticker/ seal that states + Hyaluronic acid. On the back label it says "Now flawless skin gets a boost of hydration." It also says it's 'foundation + hydrating serum.' It has an SPF 13 which I thought was a strange number. It has a pump dispenser which is the same metallic pale pink as on the label. It comes in a 30ml bottle as pretty much all Australian foundations do. When choosing the shade it was a bit of hit and miss as we were given a list of shade names without swatches etc. I chose the shade 23 True Beige. My skin shade seems to be a of a mishmash of undertones so I chose hoping a beige wouldnt be too orange/ pink. To be honest when I pumped it out I thought it looked too orange. Thankfully to my surprise though it worked fairly well with my skin tone and wasn't too dark or light. It wasn't perfect though. Maybe I need to go to a store and check the shades properly. My skin is fairly normal but can be a little hydrated as it is at the moment after being temperamental with the change of seasons. The foundation contains hyaluronic acid which is a great plus for me as my skin can have dry patches. I hoped that with the addition of hyaluronic acid it would help hydrate and stop it clinging to my dry patches. I was a little disappointed that even after using a primer it made my dry patches stand out because it just didn't seem to sit right on those areas and looked a bit patchy. The product does have a slight scent to it. Not necessarily unpleasant but it's noticeable. Before applying I washed my face and applied a sunscreen and primer. I then used one pump and dotted it on my cheeks, nose, chin and forehead before blending it in. The texture is slightly thicker/ creamier than some foundations. It seemed to spread quite nicely and left my skin looking smooth and quite nice. (except for the small dry patch on my chin and left cheek. It starts as a medium coverage but is easily buildable without getting too heavy or caking. It didn't settle into my fine lines or pores which is great. The finish is in between dewy and matte. I guess you could describe it as a satin finish. I quite liked the finish, I felt my skin looked visibly smoother and more even. I liked the way my skin looked, it wasn't quite a no makeup look but it looked natural and lovely. It wore quite well through the day. It stayed in place and I was pleased the colour didn't oxidise. I didn't have any reaction at all. No itching or irritation which was good. It didn't make me breakout or irritate the few spots I have.

Thank you to Jurlique and Beautyheaven for allowing me to be a part of this trial team. I have heard of Jurlique before but never had the opportunity to try it so this was a first for me. Right from the beginning the package looks and feels quality. The box is a lovely red with two sides pale pink with a metallic, rose gold coloured writing. gold writing. It states that the serum 'combats multiple signs of ageing.' It contains multiple botanical extracts that 'help firm skin and revitalise radiance. Lines, wrinkles and uneven skintone appear visible reduced.' Inside is a square shaped bottle that tapers towards the top. It has a rose gold part that screws on to the bottle and connects to the pump which is white with a clear plastic lid. The bottle is a deep pink at the bottom and fades to clear where you can see the pale pink colour of the serum. The writing is also in a nice rose gold. The serum itself is a light creamy kind of texture. It's pale pink in colour and has a subtle fragrance that reminds me of musk stick lollies. My skin is normal but can be a little dehydrated. I am showing signs of ageing with fines lines, wrinkles and my skin tone has always been a little uneven. What this product promises to do is everything i'm wanting in a serum. After cleansing my face morning and night. I added 1-2 pumps and gently patted it on my face and neck. I don't normally 'pat' on my skincare but that is what it suggested in the instructions. It just seemed to melt into my skin. It was absorbed nice a quick and didn't leave my skin looking oily or damp. It disappeared into my face and left it feeling so smooth and soft. It left my skin looking hydrated, glowy and lovely. As far as long term results over the month my skin tone definitely appeared more even, smooth and glowing. I didn't see any dramatic changes in my fine lines and wrinkles but I think with time they would diminish. As part of the trial it was the second part of a 3 step process and it really complimented the other products. My skin had no adverse reactions when using. It didn't make my skin break out as some rich products can. There were no signs of irritation, just lovely, youthful looking skin. It comes in a 50ml bottle for a price of $135. This to me is a little expensive. If it does everything it says in the long term it might potentially be worth the investment. It does also come in a 30ml bottle for $95
