I really love the Extraordinary range from L'Oréal and this conditioner doesn't disappoint.I have dry, long curly hair so I'm always looking for a great conditioner that actually adds some moisture into my hair. The consistency of the conditioner is quite luscious and reasonably thick for a regular conditioner. As soon as I apply it to my hair I can already feel it soaking in and making my hair feel soft and smooth. The smell is nice, not too overpowering. After rinsing it out my hair feels a lot more hydrated and I like to finish my style off with the Extraordinary Leave In cream for even more moisture.

I have dry curly hair so I haven't had a lot of success using conditioner bars (or even with a lot of conditioners) so I was keen to try another brand out. This conditioner bar has a fairly strong smell so if you are sensitive to fragrance you might not appreciate this product. I found this product relatively time consuming to get to fully cover the hair as you have to try and lather the product up by rubbing over the hair but it doesn't lather so it just slowly deposits conditioner a little bit at a time. Eventually I got the whole hair covered but it didn't feel like it really had absorbed much product which is noticeable if I use a hair mask or a treatment. After rinsing it out my hair feels a little bit softer and hydrated but not as hydrated if I had used a liquid conditioner. For me personally my hair needs a lot of conditioner to survive so this is not the perfect product for me. I think it's better suited to more normal to oily hair types. I will still use it interspersed with other products and it will be great to take away on trips.

I've only used shampoo bars a handful of times before so I was interested to see how this one compared to my normal shampoo. I have dry, curly hair and I only ever shampoo the roots so I don't go through shampoo very quickly so this bar would last me a long time. I used it by lathering it first in my hands to get it going and then rubbed the bar all over the top of my head. I found it lathered up relatively quickly for a shampoo bar. It was also fairly easy to rinse out without leaving any residue. Afterwards my hair felt a little dry but a lot better then it can feel after harsh shampoos. The fragrance of this is quite strong so I wouldn't recommend it to sensitive noses. Overall I really liked this shampoo bar and the results it gave me. But most importantly I love how compact it is whilst also being a better option for the environment. It would also be a great option if you needed to travel light.

I haven't used a product like this in years so I was excited to try the John Plunkett's Super Bright Exfoliating Skin Brightener out and see what it would do for my skin. It comes in a handy to use pump bottle and one pump is enough to cover my face and neck. I have dry skin that can be a little sensitive so the first time I tried this out I followed the recommended directions to wash it off after 1 minute to see if it reacted. My skin was fine so a couple of days later I applied it and left it on overnight under my night moisturiser. I did feel a little tingling sensation but no different to other peeling type products and nothing that felt too uncomfortable. The next morning my skin looked a little bit better and felt softer. I've only used it a couple of times so far but it really does seem to give good results so I'm interested to see how it will look over more uses. Because of the nature of this product you do have to be aware of what other products you are using as you shouldn't use Retinol, acid based or exfoliators within 2 days of using it. And as you should be doing anyway, you should apply an SPF everyday after using this. Overall this is a great overnight exfoliator to add into your routine that gives good results.

I'm always excited to try new face products so I was excited to test this moisturiser out. It comes in a generous 100ml tube with a pop top lid making it quick and easy to get out whilst being kept hygienic. The formula is on the lighter side so I prefer to use this as a day moisturiser whilst using a thicker product at night especially during winter. A little bit goes a long way and I find it rubs in pretty quickly to my skin. It doesn't contain any SPF though so during the day I needed to add some afterwards. The product has a very light scent to it but nothing that I found very noticeable. After applying my skin felt a little hydrated and softer but I would need something a bit thicker if my skin was feeling extra dry. Overall this is a good face moisturiser that would suit a range of skin types with a list of awesome ingredients like Rosehip oil and macadamia that are great for the skin.

I personally get very dry, cracked hands from contact dermatitis that is compounded by the constant washing and sanitizing during Covid times. Because of the cracks in my hand I find a lot of hand creams are very painful to apply and can often leave my hands feeling painful and burning. I love this one though because it's fragrance free and perfect for more sensitive hands. It comes in an easy to use tube that is perfect for having on my bedside table or even on my desk. I would say the packaging is definitely trying to appeal to a more masculine demographic which I think is great because men need a product like this that they feel is targeting their needs. The formula rubs in easily to my skin and you don't need very much to get full hand coverage. It doesn't leave my hands feeling greasy or sticky but they do instantly start to feel soothed. After just a couple of applications my hands definitely show an improvement in my skin. Their is just a mild skincare scent to it but nothing that should upset sensitive noses. Overall this is an amazing hand cream for anyone with hands in a really bad state. It should help them heal in no time with no nasty fragrances.

I've tried a few gradual tanning products like this over the years so I was interested to see how the Jergens Natural Glow+ Forming Daily Moisturiser compares. I received the shade firm to medium which is the perfect shade for my pasty white winter skin. It comes in a squeezy tube with a pop off lid which makes it very easy to apply. The lotion itself is on the thicker side but it rubs in fairly easily into my skin. I tried this out on my legs and after a few days I could see a noticeable light amount of colour start to develop. My skin is also feeling nicely hydrated and a little bit softer. I'm personally not a fan of self tanning products as I'm always scared of messing it up so I really like the gradual-ness of this product. After about a week of use my colour is looking natural but I haven't noticed any real firming happening around the cellulite on my thighs. Overall I think this is a great product if you want to develop a gradual tan whilst also ensuring your skin is staying nicely hydrated.

Dermal Therapy has many products that I find work really well for my skins needs. I was very excited to try out the Sensitive Skin Lotion as I do often suffer from dry skin mixed with what is probably contact dermatitis. What this often means for my skin particularly my hands and wrists is that they can be very sensitive to a lot of hand and body lotions as any cracks in my skin will burn with the wrong lotion. The Dermal Therapy Sensitive Skin Lotion comes in a handy pump bottle which makes it handy for sticking in the bathroom or on my bedside table. The lotion itself rubs in really nicely into the skin without leaving any annoying stickiness. It also doesn't have any real noticeable fragrance making it great for sensitive noses. My skin feels noticeably softer and more hydrated after just a couple of uses. Presently my hands are not overly dry and cracked but I can see this lotion being really effective without any irritation similar to the Dermal Therapy Hand Balm that I love. Overall this is an awesome body lotion for anyone with sensitive skin that needs a hard working lotion without the annoying fragrances.

Dermal Therapy makes great products so I was super excited to try out the Lip Balm with Pawpaw. I have previously tried the original Dermal Therapy Lip Balm and really enjoyed the results and this one is just as good but with the added benefit of Pawpaw. The lip balm comes in a handy 10g tube with a screw off lid. This makes it convenient to take where ever you go. The formula has a gel like consistency that glides easily on to my lips. My lips instantly feel soothed and hydrated. It doesn't really have a noticeable smell or taste which makes it a great lip balm for everyone. I get quite dry lips in winter and this lip balm definitely helped to make them feel more hydrated. The only real negative is that it is a petrolatum based lip balm which is an ingredient I'm trying to minimise my use of. Overall this is a great lip balm for anyone with dry, chapped lips looking for a product that will give results fairly quickly.

My first impression of the Lady Jane Salon Pro Scalp Brush is that it looks very fancy. The packaging is very sophisticated and oozes quality whilst still being able to see the brush in the packaging. On feeling the brush it is on the bigger side but it feels very light weight and easy to hold. I have curly hair so I only ever use a brush if I've straightened my hair as otherwise I will loose the curls or my hair is too tangled. It is recommended to use this brush before the shower so that you can wash any dirt out of your hair that has been moved around with the brush but my hair is a bit too knotty in its unwashed dry curly state so it didn't work that well. I did try on straight hair and it worked much better and the prongs on the brush really get into your scalp giving the head a good soothing massage at the same time. I have also tried this out on others and they really enjoyed the massage that it gave the scalp including the men who never brush their hair (we do already use an in shower head scalp massager for a head massage so no surprise they love it). Overall I find this to be a very high quality brush and it really feels great on the head. This would suit anyone who wants to make hair brushing a nice relaxing ritual with the added benefit of a head massage. Unfortunately I didn't love it for curly hair though but I also don't use a brush very often only a wide to other comb.
