This CeraVe Moisturising Lotion was great! I used it in the morning and it supplied enough hydration for me throughout the day. Light in texture, easily glides over my skin. My skin felt supple, protected and highly moisturised. It’s fragrance free which is great as I don’t need extra perfumes on my sometimes sensitive skin. This was my first time using a CeraVe product, I’ve heard so much hype about it and was glad to give it a try. I would highly recommend it for anyone who needs a real skin quencher. It works and my skin feels pretty happy.

I really enjoy using The Body Shop washes and this Almond Milk & Honey Soothing and Caring Shower Cream is great as it is less irritating and made for sensitive and dry skin. First off, it is a shower cream so I feel it doesn't lather up as much as other Body Shop washes. Therefore, I place a little on my shower loofah to get the most overall application and it is perfect for me in this way. I find that once I dry off, my skin is left soft, smooth and thoroughly moisturised for my dry skin problem areas. A delicate almond scent is also left lingering on my skin which is a nice perfume that lasts me the morning. I do however, find the scent while in the shower a little too strong. Given that the product is made for sensitive skin, I feel some people may find this too overpowering for any sensitives or allergies. A great product overall for skin nourishment and moisturisation.

This product is a well-balanced treatment masque for my curly wavy hair. My hair, especially the lengths of it, have been feeling quiet dry and brittle lately due to it not being cut and chlorinated water from swimming. I tried the Et Equilibrium by De Lorenzo haircare for the first time and was really impressed with the results. I applied it after washing my hair from a swim and left the masque on for the full 10 minutes before rinsing it out with tepid water. The organic rosehip and oat peptide ingredients left my hair feeling deeply hydrated and beautifully smooth. My curly waves were naturally defined when dried and equally left healthy and shiny until my next wash. The scent of the product is fresh and delicate which left my hair smelling great too.

I’ve always loved using Blistex products and was really keen to try this Lip Conditioning Balm. It was worth it! It contained a broad spectrum SPF30 protection and made me feel extremely protected from our harsh summer rays. While it protected, my lips were also conditioned and hydrated. Although the balm smelt a little ‘medicated’ it didn’t really deter me. I also used it under my favourite lipsticks and did not feel any sticky residue. It glided nicely and evenly over chapped lips and was extremely handy to have ready in my handbag during summer.

I used the Eau Thermale Avene Revitalising Nourishing Cream as one of my essential beauty creams for my morning skin prep routine. In the past, I have tried many Eau Thermale Avene products and my skin has enjoyed the benefits. With this new cream it didn’t disappoint. The cream sits in a 50ml sealed jar and can be scooped out and applied with the little spatula supplied to you within the box. Beautifully soft, the creams feel velvety when applied to my face. I love that it glides smooth and that it feels light on my skin being absorbed quickly and not greasy. Minor dry areas on my face felt nourished and hydrated while the gentle ingredients did not irritate my skin. You would enjoy this product if your facial skin needs to feel softer and add some suppleness to dry and uncomfortable sensitive skin.

I was gifted a sample size of this product and thought it a good time to finally try a self-tanning product. Being fair skinned I am sometimes reluctant to try self-tanning products as I don’t know how dark the outcome will be. I applied a small amount to my face over a few nights and did find a gradual darkening tan occurring. The result was fairly natural looking and also evenly coloured. I did not find this product having an overpowering scent. It left my skin hydrated and smooth too. I was happy to see it as an Australian made product. I’ve decided not to continue its use though, as I love my natural skin tone.

The Blistex Lip Infusion Nourish is such a wonderful product. Infused with beeswax and Vitamin E this lip care gave my lips a deeply nourished feel leaving my lips very moisturised and smooth. My lips did not feel greasy as the moisture was locked in and not on the surface. It also has an SPF15 which I find so useful as an added factor, great for any season. The scent was delicate too, not overpowering like some other lip care products I have used before. The product is a little wider than other lip care sticks but still small enough to fit into a pocket or small purse.

Using the DermaVeen Soap-Free Wash was a great change for me. I loved how nourished and hydrated my skin felt, especially after being in chlorinated pools over summer. The colloidal oatmeal maintained a supple feel to my skin and the fragrance free formula also did not irritate my skin. I also liked using this product knowing that it is dermatologically tested. For me, this makes this product highly trustworthy and also safe to recommend for people who have troubled skin and for any person to use from babies to the elderly. The 250mL size pump bottle is a handy size to fit into my shower caddy making it convenient to apply directly on my bath sponge.

Out in nature is where I love to be in the summer holidays and especially in my garden. However, my fingernails need thorough attention after working in the garden where they become rough and dry. I used the Burt’s Bees Lemon Butter Cuticle Cream for the first time and my finger nails and cuticles thanked me. After giving my hands a proper clean under water and pat drying, I applied the cream (almost a waxy texture) onto each nail bed and massaged in well. It was quiet nourishing and absorbed well onto my cuticle and made them feel really soft. I love the lemon butter scent which isn’t overpowering but very natural. The fact that this product is 100% natural is a winner for me as I prefer using natural simple products on my body. My fingernails and cuticles looked clean and revived after using this product and I would recommend if you love natural products and lemon as a scent.
