My nails are a straight disaster and I have always loved Revitanail products. They used to have a Keratin serum that I used religiously, but I haven't seen it around in years, so was keen to try a new alternative. I found it made my nails stronger, even when they were peeling and made the edges firmer, less likely to chip and split. The treatment leaves a subtle shine, like a top coat, without the inevitable chipping that nail polish would end in.It is also easy to splash on without any care for staying within the nail bed, which is my ideal as I have no skill in painting my nails. Any overflow onto the fingers brushes off easily, or soaks in.I also enjoy the ritual of putting it on daily, which is recommended one the packaging.

I don't have professional manicured nails or acrylics, so I can only review on my standard home nail polish. I found this worked incredibly fast to removal traces of nail polish, even around the nail bed. I probably preferred it to using traditional nail polish remover, even though it did feel weird sticking your finger in a wet pot. My only concern is how long it would last? You just keep sticking your fingers in to remove polish - where does all the old polish go? I just am a bit disturbed by the thought of all that old polish collecting in the tin over time. especially if you used it on acrylics or shellac.

I am dedicated to my daily SPF so I feel like I have tried every sunscreen on the market. I am not usually a fan of zinc sunscreens due to the thickness, difficulty applying and the typical "white cast" they can cause. However I quite liked using this zinc sunscreen by Dr Roebuck's. It isn't. brand I had heard of before, but now I will look out for it in future. This sunscreen is 50+ and targeted for face, but I used it across my neck and shoulders too. It is still thick and difficult to rub in like most zinc sunscreens, however I didn't find it had the strong overpowering sunscreen smell, and it didn't leave a white cast. What I liked most about it, was it left a sort of smooth matte finish that was a perfect makeup base - not something you usually find in a sunscreen. It is vegan and Australian made - so if you are after a zinc sunscreen, this is the one!

This Clinique moisture surge hydrating moisturiser is so deliciously luxe. A gel cream in a glass jar, both the packaging and the cream itself feel heavy - in a good way. Even though this is a thick moisturiser, it doesn't feel tough or heavy on the skin, it soaks in beautifully. I have oily skin, so have been using it at night only, after my serums. My skin has literally been glowing when I wake up each morning. I have had multiple people comment in the past few weeks how greta my skin looks - and trust me this is not something I am known for! I would usually steer away from more premium brands such as this due to budget, but I love this and see why Clinique has such cult skincare status. Will definitely repurchase.

I have absolutely loved using this serum. I have sensitive skin that is also prone to oiliness, so it is hard to find products that suit. Made with lime pearl, prickly pear and hylauronic acid, this is certified natural and smells amazing. This is a skin resurfacer / exfoliater and I love how it has worked so quickly to improve the appearance of my skin. The redness and enlarged pores over my nose have massively reduced in such a short amount of time. I have been amazed by the results and love how it feels on my skin. This makes me want to investigate other trilogy products, and I have already recommended it to multiple people! My only note would be to make sure you moisturise after using, as it can be a little drying.

I am a massive fan of Burts Bees lip balms, but generally have solely stuck to the core range of hydrating/nourishing balms, that are non-tinted. I enjoyed trialling this Lip Shimmer, though it did remind me of primary school Lip Smacker vibes - I think I literally had the same shade/shimmer product in 1998. The shade peony was a good colour match for me, and I really liked the peppermint oil in the product as it smelt great and gave the lips a soft tingling sensation. I didn't find this as moisturising as my regular Burts Bees balm, but it wasn't bad for a tinted product. The shimmer is quite strong, and I would probably use it on a day when I had natural makeup elsewhere or it might be overwhelming. Overall, it's not bad for a cheap little fun pop of colour, but I will stick to my standard balm for everyday care. I also might look into getting some for my nieces - as it think they would love the shimmery look while I have the comfort of knowing a Burts bees product won't harm young skin.

I had never heard of the Dr Naomi brand before but have absolutely loved trialling this Catfish Eye cream. Containing Kangaroo Paw and Hyaluronic acid, this product is unique in that it creates an almost instant blurring effect, while actively working to improve your under eye. It comes in a pen like applicator that you can click the bottom to reduce the smallest amount of product needed. A very tiny amount does do both under eye areas easily. I love the tube because there is no wastage and the remaining product doesn't get contaminated by your fingers. I have been using this morning and night for a couple of weeks and I have noticed an improvement in the appearance of my skin, especially a reduction in fine lines. This product also didn't irritate the skin around my eyes which is prone to dermatitis, and other eye creams have cause irritation in the past.

I have never used a straightening brush so I was keen to give the Lady Jayne straightening brush a go! The brush is a compact size perfect for travelling or even to throw in your handbag. It charges easily via USB cable. The straightening brush takes approximately 3 hours to charge. I found it used the charge very quickly which wasn't ideal - after charging for 3 hours I probably only got about an hour of use out of it before needing to charge again. I sectioned my dry hair and used this brush slowly like I would a straightener. Although the brush smooths the hair, it definitely doesn't "straighten" like a regular straightener would. It does improve the texture of the hair and make it easier to style though. It also works well to add or enhance light waves. I found this very easy to use and I really rate how convenient it is for on the go use. However the short battery life means I can't give it higher than 3 stars.

The Revolution Bond plex range has renewed my hair in between long overdue hair cuts! A four step program, the range works to treat, clean and condition tired and damaged hair. The bottles are conveniently numbered in order of use (3,4,5,6… what happened to 1&2??) though it would help if the bottles or labels were different colours to be able to grab the right product in the shower. 3 is a treatment product and I have used it as a mask, 30 to 60 mins before a shower. It washes out easily, leaving your hair feeling strong. The shampoo (4) lathers well and has a pleasant subtle scent. The conditioner (5) is thick and creamy, and works best if you let it sit for a few minutes before rinsing. I have used 4 and 5 alone or with steps 3 and 6. 6 is a leave in conditioner and though it provides a smooth and sleek texture, it is a little heavy for my fine air. It does however help keep my natural curls/waves stay more defined without frizz. Overall I am loving using the range and will definitely continue using.

I absolutely love the Clarins Lip Comfort Oil! I always considered Clarins a brand too expensive or for older women, but this was a great introduction to the brand. I have the colourless/gold variety and it is perfect for a treatment and for everyday use. It is like using a gloss and a balm at once. For day time when doing natural/everyday makeup looks, I have been using lip liner then applying over the top. It is giving a great natural blush shine. Will definitely continue using this and looking to buy in another colour!
