I am the perfect candidate to trial these considering I had my hair lightened not once but twice in the past 3 weeks. My hair was in serious need of repair after having a full head of foils and a bleach wash. I am absolutely loving this range. I start with the shampoo which has a pleasent scent and lathers well. A little goes a long way. Continuing on with the conditioner which instantly makes the hair feel nourished. You can tell there are no silicones in this product by the way it absorbs into the hair cuticle. My favourite product of all from the range is the styling crème. This is the hero for me. I apply to wet towel dried hair and comb through. I have tried countless leave in conditioners and this is just levels above the rest. Silky smooth hair that feels so healthy. The treatment I used once a week as a treat and left it in for as long as possible. Sometimes overnight if I had the time. Resulting in renewed feeling hair. Using them in conjunction of one and other is the best way to see the best results. My hair looked more tame and less frizzy/unruly even in this humid weather. The results are smoother repaired hair from the inside out.

First of all I’m a sunscreen fanatic. I use strong retinols and have very pale skin with some pigmentation so it’s an absolute must that I wear sunscreen religiously everyday. In fact I have about 6 different types in my cabinet right now to choose from. So I’m always on the look out for new sunscreens to try. This is my new budget fave. Being an every day item that you use so liberally you don’t want to have to spend too much on a sunscreen but you want it to work. Feel: I love how thin it is and doesn’t leave a white cast or oily/greasy feel. I would compare it to the la roche posay but less gritty and no need to shake the bottle which is convenient. It’s also not as runny/watery which I like but it’s still a thin sunscreen texture. It does leave the skin feeling moisturised and hydrated so you don’t have to follow with a day moisturiser. For the busy or time poor this is a game changer to be able to cut out a step of your morning routine. Scent: It’s unfragranced which is great for sensitive skin or poorly who are like to avoid fragrance. It’s great value for the price as the bottle is 100ml which I can see lasting quite some time. Layering: It also sits well under my foundation so you can layer it easily without worrying about pilling. Packaging: I like the neutral branding as it looks nice sitting on my vanity. The tube is a standard tube with a flip type lid. No issues with packaging to report Overall I’d definitely re purchase this product and id like try other Hawaiian Tropic products.

I trialled this during winter unfortunately so I couldn’t test it full body on a beach in the Australian sun but I am a religious with wearing sunscreen daily no matter the weather so I worked this into my morning routine using it on the neck and chest mainly. It’s a 2 in one with more of a moisturiser feel that your usual thick sun block type texture. It has a usual niveau product type scent which I’m not fond of I prefer in unscented or coconut based but that’s a personal preference. It works as expected does what it’s suppose to do; good value for money but for those who don’t like the greasy feel it might not be for you. It is lighter than some sunblocks out there and doesn’t leave a white cast which is a plus. I like the idea behind this because anything 2 in 1 is a timesaver for anyone with a busy lifestyle, just not life changing or a must have for me personally.

WOW! from the first time used this product I was blown away! Instant hydration and plumping. Skin is left feeling radiant and SO SOFT. The texture is like that of a water gel it’s quite cooling and soothing on applying. Sinks into your skin quite nicely not sticky for too long. I use this at night before bed and also in the morning under my foundation as a primer works a treat and helps fill those little fine lines helping your foundation glide over smoothly without settling into the cracks. This product even fixed this dry skin patch I had in the corner of my mouth and above. I tried so many balms and products over 6 months and it would keep returning when the cold weather hit. Dry skin beauty’s this product is a life saver and worth the price tag. You won’t regret working this into your routine. Will definitely re purchase! Thanks BH for this amazing trial <3

Pancaking is very luxe and non gimmicky like most other fitness or supplement brands. I liked the rose gold accents and the square shape of the box — it sat nicely on my marble bench tops ready for me each morning. I’d start off the day by making my sachet into a hot coffee mixed with various nut milks — coconut/almond etc. No clumping or curdling and a strong colour which I loved! I usually do double shot so it was great that it wasn’t weak. The coffee powder itself was fine milled and not grainy TICK. Overall I didn’t give me any caffeine induced anxiety which I’m always worried about with metabolising products. It seems a lot more natural than others out on the market, almost with more focus on wellness with the added vitamins etc. I did find myself feeling less sluggish on it and more focused. Didn’t notice any weight loss as yet but haven’t been weighing myself and could be too soon to tell. Will continue with the product and be hopeful.

Olay 5-in-1 Vitamin C Scrub - Detoxifying - I was sent the charcoal version of this scrub. This product didn't wow me but did leave me with nicely polished and scrubbed skin. The exfoliating grain throughout was micro and gentle I found myself focusing on my nose to "detoxify" and clear the oil out of the pores. It was more of a creamy consistency straight out of the tube but then foamed slightly when applying. It did leave the rest of my face a little drier than I would of liked but would be perfect for oily or combination skin types NB I have dry skin. I wasn't too fond of the scent though. I've passed this on to my fiancé to use as I feel its more suited to his skin type. Overall it is a good gentle scrub at an affordable price point; good for people wanting to tackle excess oil or texture issues just not for me.

OLAY VITAMIN C RESURFACING MASK - Initial reaction was a surprise in colour of the first product - a beautiful sunny bright orange. I enjoyed the colour and noted it thoughtfully carried through the Vitamin C theme. The texture was like that of honey with very fine micro sugar exfoliating granules throughout it made for quite a pleasant and tactile scrub plus it smelt like orange flower blossom. on applying the second formula I noticed the products on my face were actively foaming and fizzing giving a slightly warming sensation. Upon washing off the products i noticed my skin was a little bit red on the cheeks but this is to be expected with any peel product with actives - NB I do have slightly sensitive skin. I have used many peels in my time and always notice redness and flush afterwards this was quite gentle in comparison. Huge overall improvement in skin radiance skin appeared glowing, refreshed and revived. Skin was soft to touch. I was so impressed with this product , this could become a staple for me. Will continue to use this in my skin routine once a week or so.

This eye cream comes in a shiny sleek attractive tub to match the serum and looks cute on my bedside dresser. I suffer from sensitive very dry skin so I have to be careful with fragranced eye creams setting me off but I’m pleased that this product has next to no scent with no irritation. The texture is beautiful! Non greasy with a medium to light silky feel. It has a slight cooling sensation on the eye area when applied which I found nice and calming. I found it instantly hydrating and fast absorbing. It gives your eye area a soft to touch texture after application. I’ve used other eye creams that tend to migrate into the eye which I hate but this one settles in really well. It plumps those fine dehydration lines around the eye area. I’ve noticed a difference over the last 14 days of use. Thanks for the trial BH X

Solid quality feeling packaging with an attractive Iridescent shimmer effect on the glass bottle - a huge step up for Olay packaging. The serum comes with a twist top pump; it was fiddley at first to figure out how to open but once realised I quite enjoyed the dropper function and auto pump button - very clever. First impression is a silky non sticky serum like texture with no fragrance. On application it soaks in nicely within seconds and feels like a drink for the skin. With most retinol products you expect some form of tingle or irritation. Well I am pleased to report - No irritation what so ever and I have very sensitive skin. Once absorbed skin feels soft to touch. I really like this product and I’ve been incorporating it as a last step to my routine. I feel like it has made a difference to fine lines and overall plumpness and hydration. Thanks for the trial BH X

I wanted to love this but I could take it or leave it. The idea behind this product is genius as there is definitely a gap in the beauty market for spray on face tan mists. It does leave a nice glow and the mist is ultra fine but I found it takes many many pumps to fully cover the face. I also wasn’t too fond of the colour of the tan it’s leaning more to warm side. The scent was what turned me off the most it’s meant to be tropical but its like an off pineapple. I however liked that you can spray it over makeup as I final step and it still works. They need to improve the scent and perhaps a few different undertone colour bases to suit different skin types.
