Honestly the only word that comes to mind with this product is “wow”. It is such a light weight cream with strong superpowers. It has been a long time since I have found the perfect cream, so I guess the fact that the cream is actually called the purifying perfecting cream seems extremely fitting. Prior to using this product I found my skin was appearing dull, dry and lifeless, so this cream had a big task ahead of itself. I used the cream twice a day, in the morning and before bed, and only needed to use the smallest amount of cream. First thing I noticed was that it didn’t irritate my sensitive which is such a relief and it had a really fresh smell. Every time I used the product my skin felt plump and after two weeks of using the cream my skin visibly looked so much better. I had much fewer breakouts, my skin tone looked refreshed and the fine lines on my forehead had significantly reduced. I am over the moon with the results and will be a loyal fan of this product!

Every year that I get older I understand my mothers fear of the sun and UV damage more and more. It turns out that my mother was indeed full of wisdom and great advice that I should have listened to! My issues with sunscreen often lies with the fact that sunscreen is so heavy and greasy on your face, so wearing sunscreen daily seems like a hassle. That is until this product which is an absolute godsend. The product is so lightweight, great on sensitive skin, and did not block my pores, it is absolutely a beautiful product. I have been wearing the product daily and have noticed that I am very protected from the sun and my skin also feels soft when using. The only downfall I found was the smell is very strong and identical to the smell of the other Nivea sunscreens which are typically thicker creams. So whilst this cream was very lightweight just the smell made me think of the thick body sunscreen which put me off slightly. If the smell could differ that would have been all it would take to rate the product 5 stars. All in all, it is a great cream and I would highly recommend it for the entire family.

Since the Covid pandemic shut beauty salons i have taken it upon myself to enhance my brows from the safety of home and must say I do feel like a seasoned pro now. So trialing the new Eylure Dybrow kit made me very excited as I was actually running low on my existing kit and I always look forward to testing new brands. I have always used dark brown brow kits so felt confident that this product would be a game changer. Upon opening the kit I noticed it was very similar to the 1000 hour kits which I have been using. The instructions were super simple to read and the mixing dish and products were very easy to use. Being the first time using the product I was cautious to only keep the product on for a short time so that my brows didn’t go too dark. So instead of keeping the formula on for the recommended 5minutes I only did 3minutes. Once product was removed I was taken back by how dark it was, it may have just been my fair skin however the product appeared more of a black shade than brown, which isn’t the right look for me.. much to dark. I don’t think having the formula on for a shorter amount of time would help with this issue, I think its just the shade of the product that is not suited to my complexion. True to its word, the colour does stay on well, 2 weeks on and my eyebrows are still very dark. Whilst the pack was very easy to use and convenient the colour of this product was completely wrong for me. Also I don’t believe that this product would jump out at me on a busy chemist or supermarket shelf due to the plain white packaging.

Avene has once again created a cult product that has won my heart over. What really got me excited to test this product was that it contains active ingredients and most significantly for me was reading on the package that it is the equivalent of 3 peel sessions.... seriously... sign me up for that!!! This product will not only save me time however will also save me money, reducing the trips to the beauty salon. I have slightly oily skin, so I do get cautious testing new products being concerned that it might irritate my skin. However that was not the case with this product it was so sensitive on my skin. Not only was the cream very gentle, I also woke up feeling like my skin was so hydrated and firm and felt seriously fresh. After a couple of weeks use I noticed that my skins appearance was a lot brighter and skin tone more even, which I am guessing was thanks to my great friend, Vitamin A. The product is simply beautiful, and feels so light on your skin. I would recommend this product for anyone over the age of 30. It will now be a staple in my nightly skincare routine. The only downfall was that I didn't love the smell, however the product smell is non-offensive and didn't deter me from using the product.

I have always been a big fan of all Avene products and once again I can say without a doubt that they have created another dreamy product that not only feels beautiful on your skin however is also a very effective eye cream. First off, when looking at the packaging of the product is very in line with the rest of the Avene range so instantly you know the brand and the reputation of the product right away. It is so helpful to know that Avene is sold at most pharmacies so it is easily accessible. With me being extremely time poor I like to invest in products that are easily available. After the first pump of the product I noticed the smell is very similar to the rest of the Avene range, not the freshest smell however not offensive at all and very light in smell. When applying the cream you only need the smallest amount of product so in terms of value and size, this would last me at least 4 months so to me that is really great. You only needs the smallest amount of product and it literally glides onto your skin with a beautiful light texture that is not too greasy and absorbs right away. After continual use I did notice that the fine lines around my eyes were greatly reduced which is my main concern for my eye area. Unfortunately I didn't find that the darkness or puffiness had reduced hence why I provided only a 4 star rating for the product. I noticed the fine lines beginning to fade after about 2 weeks of continual use each night which is enough to keep me coming back and purchasing more of this liquid gold product. Overall I feel really happy with this product.

If there is one thing that the Pandemic delivered me it was DRY HANDS!!! With the contact sanitising of my paws, they were left very dry and weathered like an old lady. With that being said I have hand sanitiser in every bag I own and also scattered around my house and car. The Jergens Ultra Healing Hand and Body cream was a really lovely hand cream. The consistency of the product was really beautiful and glided onto my skin nicely. It wasn't too thick or make me feel like I would leave oily residue on every surface I touched. My hands felt really nice after using the product and definitely more hydrated. The reason I gave this product 3 stars is because whilst it was nice, I felt like I have used a number of creams that felt very similar. I also felt like the product was aimed at an older demographic, the smell reminded me of the soapy smell my grandparents had (which is lovely to remember my grandparents however I prefer a fresher smell). Also the packaging I didn't feel would jump off the shelves in the supermarket. Whilst it was a really nice product it just didn't stand out for me. Handcream is already such a saturated market so it fell short of being a MUST have due to the amount of competition already on the supermarket shelf.

I have used a number of Jergens products in the past so getting to trial this brand was a dream. I have extremely dry skin, especially on my legs and arms. Before this trial I would use Body butter which really helps hydrate my skin however is sooo thick that it gets all over my bed sheets (much to my husbands dismay!). I found Jergens Ultra Healing body balm was really great with deeply hydrating my skin, without being heavy. It glides so easily over my skin and absorbs quickly. After 3-4 uses my skin was visibly softer and smoother, and also my skin wasn't irritated when using the product after shaving, These are all big wins for me which will keep me using this product long term. The product contains vitamin E which great as it has really helped my skin in the past. Currently I am using this product to help fade a scar I have on my stomach, whilst it is too soon to tell if it will work I am hopeful it will help. The cons with the product I found was the smell. It had a smell that reminded me of my grandma, so it felt like the product was aimed at a typically older market. Also I found the packaging didn't really sell the product. It also felt like it was also aimed at the older market, and probably wouldn't jump out to me in the supermarkets already full and cluttered Beauty section.

The Olay 5-in 1 Vitamin C Scrub does exactly what the title suggests, it scrubs the day off your skins. Make up and toxins under the skin gone, leaving fresh soft skin, whilst also being gentle. Whilst I can appreciate that my skin did feel soft after each use and that my make up all came off with minimal effort, I was not entirely in love with this product. The smell, I did not love, not offensive but not a fresh smell! I also found with daily use that it was exfoliating my skin too much so I lost my Summer tanned skin glow. I also found it very grainy. For me this product would not replace my every day cleanser, I would look to use this maybe every second or third night. The packaging seems a little outdated and did not jump out to me. Very plain and not very interesting. Whilst it is a great brand there are other Olay products I would use before this one.

Not going to lie, an AHA Peel from home... I was fixed with mixed emotions before trialing this product. My first thoughts were, surely these peels are meant to be for salon use only which then made me think... is an at home option going to be very effective. Never the less i was excited to give this product a fair go as of course anything that can make me look younger is a winner in my eyes. The first product you place on has a citrus smell and is very grainy. After this step then you put on the second cream which instantly makes your skin tingle and feel warm. This sensation made be think... wow something must be working! Upon washing the treatment off I found my skin felt MUCH softer and clearer, however my skin did not look radiant or tighter. After a few weeks of trialing I found the results on my face were much better, the skin looked a lot more radiant (still not tighter though). The product says you can use up to twice a week. Once a week seemed to work just fine for my skin. Whilst they are small bottles you only need to use a small amount of product.

For the last 3 years I have noticed that my appearance of my face seems less hydrated and skin less firm... the beauty of getting older! Especially around my eyes I have been seeing more prominent crows feet decide to call my eyes its residence.. lucky me! I have yet to use retinol however have herd so many good reviews about retinol so was very happy to try this product. The first thing I noticed with this product was the smell, it was absolutely dreamy!! When I closed my eyes I could have believed I was in a day spa. The smell was lovely without being overpowering. But smell is one thing, I need a product that will actually pull through with results. I must say, this product.... did.. not... disappoint! I used this product every night before going to bed and after 3 weeks I noticed a change in my skin. The fine lines whilst not completely gone are definitely less noticeable and my eye area just looks a lot brighter and fresh. Looks like I have had a long sleep when I wake up each morning. This product is now a staple in my nightly routine, here to stay for a long time.
