The Aveeno 2 in 1 conditioner is a beautiful fresh smelling conditioner that when paired with the shampoo works to noticeable improve volume for your hair. The scent is peppermint and cucumber and has a really nice fresh feeling, not in the least overpowering. I love that this is a natural product making it great for coloured hair - no sulfates, parabens or dyes. The conditioner is a creamy thick consistency that works to add shine and detangle following the shampoo. I have very fine and limp hair and noticed an improvement in my overall body and thickness after a few weeks of using this. Very happy with this lovely Aveeno product.

Absolutely loved this product by Aveeno! What a welcome addition to the natural shampoo range containing no sulfates, dyes or parabens. This shampoo has a really refreshing lovely scent containing rosemary, peppermint abs cucumber - I loved it! Not overpowering but just that lovely fresh feeling. The shampoo is a great consistency and worked an awesome lather through my hair. I found the shampoo definetly added life and body to my relatively fine hair and left it feeling very fresh and clean. I double washed which stretched out my time between washes. I paired this with the conditioner and my hair was lovely, shiny and healthy looking with a noticeable volume. Very happy!

I was fortunate to receive this product as part of a trial. I was excited to try the Nivea products as I have used a few of their products in the past. In addition, I liked the idea of the Bakuchiol as a natural retinol alternative. This cream comes in a jar that lasts a decent while given you only need a very small amount of the cream. The cream itself is very thick, rich and creamy, which may be well suited to those with dry or mature skin. I liked the fact this was an SPF 15 rating as I think for convenience combining this with a day cream is great. It also didn’t feel like a suncream at all, so in that respect was good. However, I found the cream much too heavy for my slightly oilier skin and the smell of the cream was also overpowering for me. I found the cream sat heavy on my face and it didn’t breathe easily. I didn’t notice any immediate reduction in visibility of my fine lines as advertised and unfortunately didn’t feel the product was a fit for my skin type which was a shame. Generally I feel a hyaluronic and retinol based cream could be a lot lighter, so I think this is perhaps targeted at someone wanted a more velvety rich cream. My skin did feel hydrated but unfortunately I wouldn’t repurchase as it was just too heavy for an everyday cream.

The Nivea Cellular Lift expert Bakuchiol Night cream is a very rich and creamy texture and I feel would be best suited for those with dry or mature skin. The cream contains pure bakuchiol which is a more natural form of retinol and hyaluronic acid great for hydrating skin and increasing elasticity. The packaging of those product was fairly user friendly however these days I much prefer a pump cream. Whilst this product definitely delivered a rich cream that hydrates the skin and reduces any dryness the benefits were not seen for me. The smell of this cream is quite strong and overpowering and for me personally I found the scent a little off putting. In addition, I found the cream a little too heavy for my skin type abs didn’t absorb as well as I would have liked. This contributed to my skin looking and feeling a bit greasy. By morning my skin was moisturised, however felt greasy and after a few weeks of use I didn’t notice any major improvements in my fine lines or wrinkles that would encourage me to continue using this product. Whilst it may take longer for results to appear unfortunately I found this too heavy and thick for my skin type and the smell overpowering. I would suggest this may be better suited for those looking for a very rich cream perhaps with quite dry or mature skin type. Overall, unfortunately I wouldn’t re purchase this one. I have used other Nivea hyaluronic products which have a much lighter consistency and less overt smell so would probably look to use an alternate Nivea product.

This is such a nice light and refreshing cleanser perfect for oily skin and breakouts. Really evenly tones my skin and keeps my acne at bay. I love the scent very fresh and a nice sweet orange smell and it lasts a while. I find this a great daily cleanser for removing oil and dirt and the packaging is really easy to use with a convenient and easy to use pump. Love that it is a clean product with no nasties and doesn’t irritate my skin or cause any redness. Would definitely reccomend. Really like the quality of La Mav brand. I think this product is well suited to those who enjoy a gel based cleanser that is a clean product and marketed to those with oily skin to control breakout.

Love everything about this moisturiser. It’s beautifully light and freshly scented without any overbearing or lingering smell. The consistency is creamy and smooth but it spreads on lightly and absorbs into skin very easily leaving you feeling very fresh without any sticky feeling. The packaging is very lush and easy to use with a simple turn lid and an under lid to keep the product in tact. The product absorbed into my skin so easily and I didn’t find I needed to massage this in long before my skin soaked it up. I felt very ‘fresh faced’ afterwards and not like I was wearing any heavy creams, it has a lovely refreshing scent. I have greasy skin and this didn’t leave a greasy film. Love that this is a natural product without any nasties or toxins. I saw an overall improvement in the moisture levels of my skin and felt it kept my acne breakouts at bay. Would highly recommend this range and product.

The Nivea Sun UV Face shine control SPF 50 is targeted to be a high SPF sunscreen with 0% sticky feeling. I first noticed the consistency of this sunscreen was not terribly thick and that made it easy to apply and it sunk into my skin very easily, leaving behind no white marks which was great for such a high SPF. Whilst I didn’t notice a particularly sticky feeling I definetly noticed an overpowering sunscreen smell that for me wasn’t pleasant. In addition, it was notable the sunscreen was on and I didn’t feel it was light or particularly moisturising for my skin. I personally wouldn’t use this on my face, given my oily skin type this felt a bit heavy and strong a smell for an everyday sunscreen. I would use this on my body for days in the sun or perhaps on my face when I need a stronger SPF as for an SPF 50 it was considerably lighter then other brands I’ve tried.

As someone who regularly has henna on my brows to fill in gaps and keep a nice dark shade, I was really excited to receive this product to trial and put it to the test. After reading the instructions it seemed simple enough and I was surprised that actually mixing the product was quite simple and I was able to create a tint that wasn’t watery and easy enough to apply. I did find the applicator wasn’t the easiest to use particularly for filling in gaps in the brows. It would be great if they included more of a brush that allows you to draw in any gaps in addition to the applicator wand. I found a cotton tip at home helped me with this application. On application I had no reactions to the product and didn’t find the smell too overpowering, particularly for an at home product. I left the product for 15 minutes in total and then found it easy enough to remove the remaining product. Initially the colour didn’t look like it would be dark enough but it did darker with longer application time. The finished product was surprisingly good and I definetly noticed a fresher, darker and more pronounced shape to my brows (similar to when I undergo Henna). I think the downsides to doing at home was just being able to get the shaping as nice as when it it done professionally. However it is certainly an awesome product for those in between touch ups. I didn’t find the product lasted up to 6 weeks, for me it seemed to wear off closer to a week but I do find I never get a long application with Henna either so it may be my oily skin that wears this off quicker. Overall, I’d repurchase and think it was a great at home beauty treatment that you could do to freshen up and have darker brows before a night out - definitely a more natural feel then using an eyebrow pencil and a quick and easy enough application.

Olay Niacinamide and Hyualuronic Super Serum is for adding hydration and designed to be used twice a day ahead of moisturising. The serum comes in a 30ml bottle with a pump dispenser however you have to wind the top off first and it’s like a dropper that you push the lid down to release the serum. I found this dispenser to be overly tricky to use and found I needed to wind the lid all the way back down in order to re get a second pump of serum, certainly not the most user friendly packaging. The smell for me was a little over powering and the serum was much ‘creamier’ and thicker then your usual water based serum. Surprisingly, despite the thicker appearance the serum did sink into my skin easily and I found I needed a full two pumps to spread across my face. My face didn’t feel oily on application and I do suffer oily skin. I didn’t notice any major visible improvement in my skin after a good 7-10 days of use but did find my skin was adequately moisturised. I guess like anything long term use is advised. However I prefer a more water based lighter serum as applying moisturiser following this serum would have felt too much for me. In addition, the packaging of the serum in addition to the smell would probably discourage me from re purchasing.

I was really excited to review this product as it isn’t something you see on the market everyday and I love trying new face care regimes! I utilised this mask as part of my twice weekly facial and loved the process. First you apply the Vitamin C Resurfacing mask and instantly feel a very warm tingle giving the feeling of the product working deep into your pores. I loved this warming sensation and the thickness and luxurious ness of the mask. You only need a small amount to spread across your face avoiding the eye area! I didn’t have any adverse reactions but did feel the closer I applied to sensitive spots such as upper lip the tingling was more intense. Next you apply the AHA Peel which is more like a cleanser or serum that when mixed with the mask creates a bubbling effect and chrystalises the mask (very cool)! The effect is a warming sensation and the feeling of your pores being deeply exfoliated. Finally, you rinse and I was left with brightened skin looking like I’d just had a facial. My skin wasn’t red or sensitive to the product and I found the smell nice and the packaging simple and easy to follow. Overall, I felt the results were subtle but a nice weekly mask to do before a night out or heavy make up application. I had smooth and brightened skin tone.
