I am personally a huge lover of most Maybelline brow products, I just find they almost never miss a beat and this product is no different from the rest. If you are looking for a creamy consistency with your pencil I would probably recommend staying clear of this product otherwise definitely give it a go. The reason why I prefer this pencil over the rest is the shade, my brows are super dark, nearly black but not quite and my hair colour is a light brown so I like to keep my brows as light as dark brown can be whilst still using a cool tone shade, which I find almost impossible to come across. The dark brown shade is the best I can find especially for the price.

This palette has a reasonably good shade range with three skin-tone shades, a purple and a green corrector as especially with the low price tag attached but I do find if I try and cover large areas like the under-eyes or larger places of discolouration my foundation will look cakey and chalky. When using this product I generally don’t use the four right shades (complexion and purple corrector) and use the green shade for spot concealing followed by a layer of skin tone conceal then my foundation over-top.

I am a lover of a bold red lip so they shade 'kiss me you fool' was right up my alley so I decided to put it to the test on Christmas day, which includes for me a lot of talking from the early morning to the late night, a lot of eating and a fair few kisses and hugs shared around. So to say the least transferring, fading and drying to the point its uncomfortable is a no go, and this definitely passed the test. I was constantly checking subtly in my phone camera or my reflection in my glass (which had no trace of colour on it, may I add) throughout the day waiting for it all to take a turn for the worst, but it never came! And when the time came that I eventually did have remove the lipstick I begun getting worried because it was looking like it didn't want to go no where but with the help of an oil-based makeup remover and a bit of force the colour came right off. The lipstick is my go to on whenever I know I wont have the time, patience or effort to be going to the bathroom several times throughout the day or evening for touch-ups, and is by far at the top of my favourites list of liquid lipsticks and may even take the top overall spot of any lip product the I've tried.

I brought one of these liners in a rush a while ago and put it right to the back of my drawer after a couple of uses simply because I forgot about it. After recovering it when doing a major clear out I gave it another go and fell in love and the shade Red Dynamite is my holy grail red liner, now my top three also have welcomed the shades spice and wild clover. When applying the product, it has a great texture, not too stiff but not crazy soft that makes the product hard to apply. The colour pay off is amazing especially with the richer colours, although I do find myself having to do a touch-up throughout a night of talking, drinking and eating, which can be expected and forgiven easily.

I brought this mascara after seeing the overwhelming amount support it received and a couple of friends who swore by the drugstore product, either being at the top of their own lists or just falling short because other another product costing 3 times the amount. The mascara is a deep and rich black, adds lots of volume to the lashes without getting clumpy and does a great job at separating the lashes. Although, I do find that the product doesn't lengthen lashes greatly (keeping in mind, it isn't marketed to do so) and I do find that I do have to take my time and pull extra funny faces due to the sheer size and shape of the wand but that comes more down to my personal preference. Overall I really do enjoy this mascara and its definitely made up near the very top of my favorites list, I find myself reaching for it several times throughout my week and regularly layering on top of itself and/or other mascaras.

I purchased this straightener on a whim when my luggage got lost at the airport and made a mad dash to chemist, the low price perfect for my minimal budget and was even marketed to be great for curling hair, one of my main uses of hair straighteners. The black exterior makes the product look sleek and the ceramic plates smooth the hair. Upon start-up the tool heats up super fast to its maximum temperature of 230°c and is adjustable down to 150°c. I personally have relatively normal hair but ALOT of it, as my hairdresser reminds me every time, so between that and the need to take quite small portions of hair each time it does take a good portion out of time a routine to either straighter or curl my hair. After a couple of hours I can see the frizz coming back with a vengeance or my curls dropping so if you're looking for a new permanent fixture keep in mind that this hair tool will not allow you to go a couple of days with just a few touch-ups here and there.
