I was surprised to received this as part of the trial. I have seen this in store and wanted to try it. So far I've been pleased with the Lady Jayne Rechargeable Smoothing Brush overall. It's easy to use and does a good job of smoothing my hair and reducing frizz, especially when I want a quick refresh without pulling out all my hair straightener. It heats up ok, a little slow but nothing major but leaves my hair looking neater and more polished. That said, if I want a more refined finish, I still find myself reaching for my straightener afterwards. The smoothing brush works well for everyday touch-ups , but a straightener gives me the extra sleekness I'm after. Overall, it's a handy styling tool that saves time and makes my hair more manageablea do makes a perfect travelling tool.

I love the variety of scents Burt's Bees release and absolutely love the Pomegranate Moisturising Lip Balm. I've used this flavour before and absolutely loved it. The pomegranate scent is one of my favourites in the Burt's Bees range—fruity, refreshing, and not too strong. The balm glides on smoothly and feels nice application, however, even though I love the scent, I do find myself reapplying it more often than some other lip balms. My lips tend to feel like they need extra moisture after a while, whereas with some other brands the hydration seems to last longer. Despite that, it's still a lip balm I enjoy using and one that I'll happily keep in my bag for the lovely pomegranate fragrance alone.

I received Little Etoile Everyday Femine Wash to trial. I always like using feminine washes as part of my daily routine, so I was happy to try the Everyday Feminine Wash. I like the packaging, nice and slim which made it easy to store on my shower shelf which is tiny! I found it gentle and easy to use, leaving my bits feeling fresh and clean without irritation. It felt comfortable on my skin and was suitable for everyday use. It had a very subtle almost non existent scent which is good. Overall, it's a nice product that fits well into my routine and does exactly what I look for in a feminine wash.

I was sad with the Bright + Balanced Illuminating Serum because the niacinamide didn't agree with my skin. While the serum has a lightweight texture and absorbs easily, I found it left my skin feeling irritated rather than balanced and refreshed. Unfortunately, it wasn't a good match for my skin type, and I didn't get the brightening results I was hoping for. It's always disappointing when a product contains an ingredient that my skin doesn't tolerate well, so this one wasn't for me. The brand has amazing products and I won’t let this ones deter me from using their products.

Cicalfate+ Restorative Protective Cream is one of those products I always like to have on hand, so I was glad to have a backup. I've been using this on and off for a couple of years already when my skin isn’t feeling its best. It helps to soothe dry, irritated, or sensitive areas of skin, and a little goes a long way. The cream feels rich and protective without being overly greasy, and it's is a reliable staple whenever my skin needs some extra care. My son and hubby also reach for this whenever they have skin irritations. What’s great about this product is that it not just for the face. We all use it on elbows, knees, hands and even on the lips when needed. It’s a fab all rounder.

One of the very few CC creams that I like. Skin looks fresh and healthy look without feeling heavy or cakey, and the coverage is just enough to even out my skin tone while still looking natural. I like that it blends easily and leaves a soft and with a satin finish that isn't too matte or dewy. The added SPF 50 is a huge bonus, making it a great option for everyday wear. It feels comfortable throughout the day and doesn't settle into fine lines. Overall, it's a great all-in-one product for light coverage, sun protection, and a polished, effortless look.

I received a small sample of the Night Serum as part of the Best New Beauty Awards. I've used numerous No7 skincare products and loved them all. I actually ran out of night serum so this came at the perfect time. I love the lightweight consistency of the serum. It absorbs instantly into skin which is amazing as I am super fussy with serums, I dislike at tackiness on the skin. I want the product to be absorbed not sit on the surface. It worked well with my moisturiser and left my skin feeling really nourished. In the morning skin felt soft and supple. I actually felt the difference in the texture of my skin with this serum compared to the one I was using. I have only been using it for a couple of weeks and hopefully to get a month out of the sample as I really like this one. I will definitely be picking this one up.

I received the Neck & Decolletage Lifting Serum as part of the Best New Beauty Awards to trial. I'm already a fan of Jojoba products and was excited to receive this to trial. This serum has the Jojoba Company signature scent which I LOVE! It has a lightweight consistency, and my skin immediately absorbs it all in. It does leave skin with a glow and feeling smooth. Almost like there is a film over the skin but there isn't. I’ve been applying this serum at night after a shower and definitely found my skin texture and appearance looks smoother and softer which I think it's down to hydration mainly. As I have only been using this serum for 2 weeks. Even though it does say to use both day and night I haven't been and didn't expect to see results already. As for the firming and anti-ageing results, I don't expect to see that for at least 6 weeks of continued use, but I feel I will probably see that earlier as I'm impressed that just over two weeks, I'm already seeing improvements with the texture and appearance on my chest area. I'm looking forward to the continued use and see further improvements.

I received this Rescue Lip Relief as part of the Best in Beauty Awards to trial. This would be my favourite Burt's Bees lip balm in their whole range. There are quite a few of the scented ones that leave my lips drier than moisturised which I need to constantly reapply. I did not experience this with this lip balm. It has a Vaseline type of texture but thinner. It's easy to apply and scent free. Its moisturising properties are excellent, it lasts ages on the lips, and it doesn't make my lips drier than before applying. Lips feel soft and supple after use. Overall, a great product, I would pick this up again when looking for a new lip balm.

I received the Remington Slim Straightener to trial. This couldn't of come at a better time. I was on the hunt for a hair straightener and a little overwhelmed with the saturation of hair straighteners and knowing which one is good for my hair as we can't try them. First impressions, I love the colour! The look and feel of the straightener. Its a little heavier than my old one but that's only a small downside. This hair straightener has been amazing for quick, smooth styling. It heats up super-fast and glides through my hair effortlessly, leaving it sleek and shiny without feeling burnt. I don't have to go over the same section multiple times which helps with the condition of my hair and not exposing it to unnecessary heat. It's easy to handle and manoeuvre, making it perfect for touch-ups or styling on the go.
