A woman has experienced every lash-lover’s nightmare by having her eyes sealed shut after getting eyelash extensions that were applied with superglue! Yes, you read right – superglue! Don’t worry, I’m shuddering too.

As reported on PopSugar, a woman arrived at Fara Beauty Salon in Thailand with her eyes having been sealed shut after visiting another salon. In a video posted on Facebook, the lash technician at Fara Beauty Salon had to carefully remove each superglued lash individually, using an oil to break down the glue.

The lesson from this (other than the nightmares from that scarring visual)? Always do your research before booking in with a lash extension technician! Superglue and lash extension do not mix and it’s important to choose a salon with certified lash experts.
